Fuck all racists in every scenario regardless of whether someone thinks disco sucked or not. None of the people in high school who used to use the term sold out to disco were racist. It was a cut on perceived shallower people who followed fads and compromised their individualism to try to be cool. That was endemic among people moving from one thing to the next in the mid to late 70’s and early 80’s. Not looking to school anyone or agitate any of the resident lower grade trolls, but don’t think for a second that a good number of people who were “disco” didn’t eventually become 50’s then urban cowboy as popular culture influenced what they were trying to present themselves as. All day. What pisses me off now is me and my middle brother loving that shit when it happened (our oldest sister was disco and strictly commercial), but if we would have known some of the backstory, we wouldn’t have gotten worked by racist elements.

The first minute of this song is fun. It's like they are all playing in different bands. I don't know what the drummers deal is. The way he counts the band in with that quick hi hat the second time and throughout the song is insane and made me laugh out loud the first time I heard it and still makes me giggle.
I don't know how it works. I don't understand music really.
