She's great. The first few episodes I didn't get the hype since she's so dour/serious/blank but the more the show goes the more that makes sense and where we are now it's clear that it was a character choice and not a lack of acting. She's been great going up against such veterans as Steve Martin and Martin Short (not to mention Nathan Lane, Jany Lynch, Amy Ryan, and more)
Yeah, but her acting that first season was SO bad.
Just commented on this. I thought the same in the first 3-4 episodes and thought that even if she was playing a dry/shy/millenial whatever that it was one-note. But once you find out more and more about the character and see her in different lights I really understood it. Figured that was a specific choice. She was in a way at that time in her life.
You ever think that there's too many letters in the abbreviation?
First remembered there being LGBT. Then came the Q. Now there's an I and sometimes other stuff after that. No offense to anyone in the + realm, y'all cool - but at some point we prob need to cut off the abbreviation before it gets wicked long.

Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

So, how about LGBT+
I will deliver your proposal to the council. We will reconvene after brunch.

One day we’ll take the whole alphabet
2S is a thing too, one day we will take all the letters and numbers
Surprise bitches, that's been the Queer Agendatm this whole time
One of my partners is gender fluid and their pronouns are whatever they wake up feeling that day, which at first I thought would be tedious but has actually been amazing because it gives me such an insight into their mind on any given day and makes me feel intimately connected with them that they would take the time to tell me what they’re feeling like.
This is why anti-gerrymandering laws are greatly needed. MTG can say and do the most absurd and fascist shit in the history of public office and know she is safely a lock for re-election.

Hello, who were some of your first crushes that signaled you weren't straight? I know my first when I was coming to terms with being gay, but my first one - looking back - was Kelly Kapowski.
I kept wishing she'd be my babysitter, but now I know it was my first fictional crush.

I was absolutely infatuated with Kenny Chesney as a kid. I would watch CMT just for his and Shania’s videos.

The first instance of a fictional crush was also the first instance of gender envy and "huh I don't think this is how boy crushes are supposed to feel"
Marion from Raiders. Her intro scene is still cool, sexy shit. I aspire to live with that level of badassery and that wardrobe! Amazing.
That scene was the first tiiiiiiiiny crack in the egg for lil' Lexi.

When I was in 3rd/4th grade my first-ever favorite band was Hanson. I wouldn't have described it as a crush then - I didn't start to acknowledge that I felt things towards guys until high school - but I printed out pictures of them that I kept in a folder and would just look at them. It was pretty gay. My second-ever favorite band was the Spice Girls.
How my family never had suspicions is beyond me.
