Speaking of Florida, my sister is officially moving from Florida to Massachusetts this summer. They love their house and life down there, but my nephew is trans so they are going somewhere that is is not moving (as much) backwards.
MA is prob the safest state in the nation for trans people right now. it sucks that they have to leave so much behind but i’m glad they’re able to move up here and keep him safe
Agreed on everything. And selfishly, I am excited to have them 2 hours away!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I am sorry you live in Florida, and that even a place like South Beach isn't immune to DeSantis Fascism.

much, MUCH worse places to go than MA right now insofar as trans safety is concerned

is there anywhere in the US more safe than here for trans ppl? i feel like somerville and cambridge are up there with the most queer friendly places in the country
san fran, portland are the only two that might be better

Mass is probably up near the top, especially inside 128 or around Amherst/Noho.
There's an area from east of Springfield to south of Worcester to about Milford - which is a right wing black hole.

Today was our Pride spirit day at work, and was my first time going to work - or in public in general at a non-Pride event - in a dress. Walking the three blocks in the city was nerve-wracking because the fear of being hate crimed is pretty real and I kept getting nervous someone would intentionally hit me with their car (thanks, domestic terrorists), but folks at work barely even batted an eye, which was nice. Bit of a milestone for me, feels good. Got a haircut this morning and eyeshadow came out well too, so aside from my empty stomach today's a pretty good day so far.
Anywho because it hasn't been said in-thread yet: happy Pride, ya queerdos!

Jaz!!!!!! Hell yes bb. I totally resonate. I've only gone out in the city a few times in a dress and it's so nerve wracking.

I don’t know where else to drop this off but I just saw a tiktok of Phoebe and Lucy taking off their shirts and go topless at the Belgium boygenius concert (Julien was out playing guitar in the audience with a lesbian pride flag in their teeth) and um….both ladies are as talented as their boobs are nice.
