Here's a stoner playlist I made for a draft that was ongoing on 4/20/20 of all the trippiest and most weed-pun-named tracks I could think of for the artists I drafted. Enjoy please!

Didn't do much for the holiday but did enjoy some Tomahawk, a Gorilla Glue and Stardawg cross, one of my faves. Got a GMO Cookies cross for tonight. Anything Chem-derived seems to tickle my fancy.
I’ve stopped buying from dispensaries in Illinois and now I go to Michigan. It’s a 200 mile round trip, but it still beats Illinois prices. I work in Michigan a few times a year and usually bulk up when I’m out there.

I've only seen a couple MI dispensaries one time since it's a 300 mile roundtrip for me. Of course I'm no expert since my only real frame of reference is from one trip to Colorado five years ago and the ridiculously lame med-only dispensaries we have in Ohio, but I was definitely impressed by what I saw. And that was just in Morenci where they appear to cater mainly to us poor folks from Ohio and Indiana, so I'd bet they're even better around the bigger cities.
I dream that one day Ohio will leave the antebellum South and protect people's healthcare rights, stop defunding libraries, fund education in a manner that our own court deems to be constitutional, eschew jerrymandering in order to make all votes equal, and legalize weed. Instead of the future we seem to be heading towards the year 1800.

Top dressed and fertilized for the first time in their short lives, I love these plants. Such a fun variety of shapes, growth patterns, node spacing, leaflet size, serrations, and structure. Lemon orgi first, emerald fire, then the skunkxnl

I don't know if this is the place to post this, but it seemed worth a shot: I've been having some bastard insomnia, lately, and it's kind of led to sleep anxiety - i.e., the worry that I won't sleep compounding to make it less likely that I sleep. In an effort to combat this, I picked up some CBD gummies from a local smoke shop - Green Roads' Sleepy Zs. Unfortunately, it wasn't until after I'd taken it for a couple nights that I realized it also contains a pretty high dose of melatonin per gummy.
I'm not opposed to taking a little melatonin as a temporary fix to get me back into a normal sleep cycle, but I'd also like to explore an option to just help deal with the anxiety so I can fall asleep more naturally. Anyone have a recommendation for a really good CBD+CBN edible for anxiety?
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Got any friends that are smokers? Ask around for old weed. Oxygen degradation turns thc into cbn over time, generally 8mo-1 year, so older bud like that is perfect for sleepy time meds. Same with growing, the longer it goes in flower, the more cbn it makes. I know that's probably not real helpful, I don't fuck with edibles at all myself. Hopefully someone here will get you some answers!

You are in New York and it is legal right? I would get indica heavy gummies. thejeremy has bad sleeping issues due to his MS and those knock his ass right out and there is no melatonin in that, just THC. If you are unsure about that, I have ordered for the puppies CBD oil from CBDistillery.
I see tons of ads on Twitter for Cheech and Chong gummies. If it’s legal in your state, I can’t imagine anyone cares if you have weed products shipped right?

theoretically, they will if it's thru the USPS since they're a federal entity and it's federally illegal. The farm act is a loophole, and it's all grey area and also being actively backtracked, but is still technically a law...
Short answer, they probably don't care about that, long answer, they still definitely care about that technically

Yesterday, Ohio secretary of state Frank LaDouche had to announce that the state's legalization effort got enough signatures and will officially be on the ballot in November. We have a good chance of passing it but it's not a sure thing. It's certainly a good thing that we'll also be voting on a constitutional amendment concerning reproductive rights, and a positive sign that we defeated a GOP-backed measure in a special election last week that would have changed the threshold to amend the constitution to 60%, and make it damn near impossible to land citizen-driven initiatives on the statewide ballot.
If passed, we'll be allowed to possess 2.5 ounces and grow 5 plants at home, 12 max per household. The wording and plan have been to regulate marijuana like alcohol, which doesn't go far enough but makes it sound palatable to a broad audience. If you're an Ohio citizen and reading this, please, please, please register to vote and support this.
This will both fix and negate some of the problems of our lame medical program, which limits access to those in need because it permits so few qualifying conditions, does not allow enough dispensaries, and has resulted in insanely high prices. We don't want to have to go to Michigan and cross state lines with a federally-prohibited substance, lie about our medical conditions so we can get approved in-state, go broke buying locally, or deal with unscrupulous black market sellers who often peddle dangerous drugs.
I can't wait, and and I've already decided I'll be growing Old School Glue from Greenpoint and maybe Kritikal Bilbo from Genehtik as soon as allowed by law.
Unless I lived in France or a French speaking country, I’m changing my name.
Looks like the DHHS has recommended rescheduling to a Schedule III. DEA would have to concur I think before this could happen. It’s not that big of a step and seems like crawling incrementalism, but a start is a start. This is about 40 years overdue, but again a small but somewhat important step if the future path is to remove criminality.

Lil preflower update no one asked for, we're moving right along despite the late, late start. Here in VA, the cutoff for outdoors is ~ July 4th, you'll be finishing in November.

I got a tincture in California called Dreamt which is incredible for sleep. The kind I use does have melatonin in it, but they have other varieties that don't. I'd definitely poke around to see if you can find it in a dispensary near you.

He pronounces it LaRose, and he spells it that way, but he's more like a LaDouche, in my opinion.
And while a move to Schedule III is certainly a step in the right direction, it is far too little and far behind what so many states have already done. Hell, they DEA have already basically given up actually enforcing federal cannabis prohibitions in most cases other than interstate trafficking and cases where state regulations are flouted.
The main benefit here might be in terms of research. I could see this opening the floodgates for researchers who have had a hard time running human trials and things because of Schedule I access limitations and the difficulty in securing grants. It could also have implications for banking, as banks have been very leery of dealing with state-sanctioned cannabis businesses in all capacities. None of that is a slam dunk though, I suppose, since Schedule III is still much more restrictive than what recreational states have done. Medical access should be improved though, and perhaps general practitioners and primary care physicians without specific training or certifications will be more apt to recommend weed.
