I really would not believe The Sun. That stuff Happens every year and theyve gotten some things right in the past but not a consistent thing. I do find it hard to believe that the festival would literally have just picked up the phone a week ago and asked Rihanna to play. It took em 3 years to get Beyonce after Jay Z performed in 2008, so why wouldnt have they been trying from the get go once they knew Taylor wasnt gonna show up and make up for 2020.

All right. After moping around for a day I'm a little bit less upset about this than I was at 5:30 in the morning watching other folks get tickets after the official sell out, and failing miserably. Girlfriend and I are going to try for tickets at resale and hope for the best.

Is 4 months before the lineup comes out really last minute?
Well yeah. You likely wouldve had an announcement already and a decent chance it was that slot if tix had gone on sale on Oct. Diana Ross was announced at the beginning of Nov last year.
Feels tough saying "I'd for sure see this headliner," knowing how much is going on at that time, but it's nice to have a headliner I'd truly be excited to see. I like AM's earlier stuff but don't think I want to suffer through them playing the last two albums.
I also still don't have tickets and need to chill until resale.

Celine Dion can't play at Glastonbury next summer because she's sick with stiff-person syndrome and her European tour has been canceled for next year and she can play at Glastonbury in the summer of 2024.
