Same. I’ve had tickets twice. Had to sell once and cancel/refund once. Always been a bucket list to do New Orleans and the fest.
ya we went to New Orleans for Pretty Light NYE in like 2016. loved it but poured the entire time would love to get there for the fest.
Those PL shows were great. His Jazz Fest parade and show under the highway was killer too. Hoping for Dead and Company and maybe the Foo Fighters which I’ll walk over to both of those. Jeff Beck would have ruled RIP
(*no real basis for these, just a random guess lol)
Lizzo officially confirmed via her website
Good. While ideally for me I’d see her play Congo Square, she earned her headlines. I hope tomorrow has some more big names I care about. Lizzo and/if Dead & Co if they play is a good start. Bring back Neil Young too.
What’s bugging me is I’m supposed to be in Panama City mid week during the Goose shows. I’m gonna have to work around that.

That's a big miss headliner wise for me which is weird because I usually like a lot of past headliners for this fest.
Middle shit is better than most of the HL’s for me - Wu-Tang, Ludacris, E-Collective, Angelique Kidjo, Gary Clark Jr. I’ll be there for Lizzo and Dead & Company and see how night and overnight shows shake out.

This does not inspire me. I hope Wu, Lizzo & H.E.R. are all the same day if that is the case.

Are Mumford & Sons a thing right now?
Idk. I only saw them that time they played Voodoo. It was better than I thought it should have been, but it’s not a draw for me.
He’s at Bonnaroo, but apparently Jazz Fest convinced them to do a show. Midford and Sons. This assumes the leak I posted is right since JF hasn’t announced yet.
