not sure how productive it’d be to say what i’m looking for before it happens. i’m mainly just succumbing to the fallacy otter mentioned where it’s easier to not question the more quiet people (teddy, dan).
It's curious to me that people are actively succumbing to something they consider to be a fallacy. I will say again it is fair to be on myself or Rummy based on the whack. But voting for louder people because you have more to investigate even though you know it doesn't make sense... is weak town play. Making mafia's job easier.

this press run to make almost everyone sound crazy just doesn’t sit right and seems like a tactic to make all of town frazzled and unsure of who to trust. needless to say i don’t trust jortles even moreso now than when i mentioned my wariness last night, and by my quick count i’ve gotta protect myself

To make a clear distinction between this and the classic mafia tell that you, theo and others have... I was never planning for one second to make excuses for my absence before, during or after. Since you have asked, I tell you about my weekend:
Friday after work I drove 4 hours to Tampa to hang with a friend only for that night. We got drunk as shit, I woke up, we did brunch, then I drove the 4 hours back to Jax and got home saturday afternoon. Then on Saturday at 7, I pregamed for a concert that featured Trick Daddy, Young Jeezy, Trina, Plies, Juvenile and others. But the twist: JEEZY DIDN'T EVEN SHOW. We were in a suite at the arena for free thanks to the Jags. So we went in anyways. I bought a bottle of Tito's for the group to overcome the loss of Jeezy.
Woke up pretty hungover on Sunday and went to work at 10 am for the Jaguars vs Cowboys 1pm game. This game ended up being a top 3 home game for me as far as excitement goes since I've been working for the team (7 seasons!). A solid group of us went to the bar across the stadium after the game to wait out the traffic. Spirits were super high! After that, our core group went to local chain Dick's Wings and Grill. There, I performed my routine post game party trick. I ordered a pitcher of Bud Light "and a straw." Stuck the straw in the pitcher and took it down. I then went home and went to bed fairly quickly at the end of a glorious yet disgustingly unhealthy weekend.
Yesterday, I had a major renewal meeting with Bacardi / Patron / Grey Goose from 11 am - 1:30 pm. I was preparing for that meeting all morning, completely locked in during it, and consumed with debriefing how it went with my boss following it. I popped in here it looks like fairly soon after that just to say its dope that I was saved by you.
Then I started looking at the game again last night and got really excited / starting posting more once I became more confident in my interpretation of the whack. Also, since I'm going to be an exile either here or tomorrow, I like the idea of playing a role in this game by giving townies more content to review later on if they want to... by poking at a bunch of people.
newbie question: what is “pre-reveal” referring to?
When the inspector tells the town about the information that they alone have, we refer to that as an "Inspector Reveal." Them revealing the information. Information includes the Mafia name that the ref provided them at the start of the game and the results of any guesses that they have made during the nights.

Guess of Maf
1. Cum - Whack points to her, her tone and play style is also off. She's also really damn good at reading me and I'm pretty sure she would know im town if she was too. If she is town, I'm happy to be released form her vice grip of good reads on me.
2. Browell - Playstyle very weird. First post / vote with a classic little comment about chili as a joke and then stayed on Cinci the whole time (aka not playing the game / never had a reason). Browell also said on page two "if you are on me, you are wrong." At this time, he had one vote and was not set to move forward. First two posts contained either fluff or unnecessary / illogical content. You have to get halfway down page 5 to come to Browell's 5th post, and first post that contains an ounce of substance. BUT, as with the theme, the post is illogical. It's at the start of Day 2 where Browell ignores the whack and votes for Rummy based on something from Day 1. Browell also shows a fake lack of confidence in the post finishing with "I think its worth an initial vote" that also rings mafia. Like hes trying not to be too offensive to avoid being voted for. On page 6 and now 8 Browell makes two sensible posts with substance finally. But even then he is kinda jumping on the easy train of voting for me.
3 Cinci - Said some very weird things, but I'm less confident by a good margin here. Mainly because Cinci said some weird shit last game as town. Specifically something like "Inspector should look into Jortles tonight." So I probably am bad at reading Cinci idk.
Makes me question my guess of maf

5. Teddy - He's been quiet, but his vote for Browell felt lone ranger to me. Not a lot to go off of yet.

6. Pink - Questions feel legit. Could be coached but props to the coaches in that case I guess. At one point I wondered if Pink was almost paralyzed as maf being scared to fuck up in the first game. I would press pink harder and harder if I remain in the game to get a better feel. But I do lean town now

7. Otter and Maddog - Neither of these players would lock on Day 2 like that as Maf. Only as unthoughtful Townies

This tally brings me some extra confidence because MD and Otter are the only two that I actually believe are suspicious of me. The townie premature locks. Then the other 3 are my 3 most suspicious living players with one of those three as the other option.
