Based on the dates, I guess The Postal Service and DCFC might make sense for this?
The newly announced tour is just cities they didn't play this year, where they even have a TBA venue listed for the Kilby set. While I would love to see that show again, I still think it's a lot more likely Vampy Weeks is our headliner. (dream is having both, but that might be too top-heavy)

Agreed. They're not playing JLH. They played 3 sold out nights at the Bowl, everyone who wanted to see them in LA probably saw them.

only thing I would disagree with is that there is a limited headliner pool for this and if Postal Service is active, you go and get them.

Vampire Weekend sitting right there is the best scenario for JLH cause it hits the sweet spot. Its a band from the era and they havent played a show in a long while. TPS is a great option to have due to the rarity factor if thats what theyre going for. Cause its not as if theyll be touring or releasing anything in the future.
I wonder if we can expect a lineup announcement for this next week 🤔
I think they wait a week after Coach drops to do it. Still 4 months lead up time and if people didnt wanna go to Coach they got that. Dont make people put their money in the wrong spot too soon.

Is Bradford doing better? I haven't seen Deerhunter in many years but I heard his last tour was a mess.
Not that this festival has had any lineup drop pattern so far, but this released the day after MLK Day last year. It'll be very funny if this drops before the Coachella lineup.

Could UNKLE play this? Not sure where they fit anymore but JLH seems the best fit. I didn't realize they had shows last year until after they happened so I was sad to miss out.

Ah hell, I'll play fantasy festival league too! *checks iTunes to see who released stuff 10 years ago*
Vampire Weekend - The War on Drugs Beirut (playing at sunset, duh) - Gossip (reunion) - Lykke Li Two Door Cinema Club - Deerhunter performing "Halcyon Digest" - Local Natives Alvvays - Phantogram - Courtney Barnett Mew - Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Matt & Kim - Camera Obscura (reunion) DIIV - Austra - CSS - The Sounds
I left off Joanna Newsom, who I know is playing Kilby, but Joanna in a festival environment just feels weird to me, you know?

I think this would be too big of a jump up size wise from last year, that Postal Service/DCFC tour is doing arenas and VW + TWOD are both already headliner level for what they've booked in the past. I could see this lineup minus PS/DCFC, which is similar to the next one posted

Yeah they probably will only have one of VW and PS+DCFC, but War on Drugs wouldn’t headline this fest, just not enough hits and more associated with mid-late 2010’s rather than the 2000’s.
Pretty confident in that undercard though, surprised Metric and Matt and Kim haven’t played this before. Two Door, Alvvays, Go! Team are all but confirmed with their tour dates.
