What podcast? What's the podcast's source? Does this podcast have a history of breaking reputable stories?
Mazin has a screenwriting podcast I used to listen to years ago. He frequently spoke on there about safety and respect for cast and crew, all the way down to making sure PAs weren't exploited. He's been in the business many years with no scandals and lots of people that like working with him. Interesting thing to allege about someone.

It's a paywalled podcast so I don't really want to say on a searchable website because I think the expectation is that I won't go blabbing publicly about it lol. It's someone in the industry. I have no reason to think they'd make it up, and they would not have said it if they weren't behind a paywall.
They also mentioned Mazin showing what I guess you'd call a lack of solidarity with WGA and his refusal to use a writer's room. They're not screenwriters, but if you want to believe that they just invented it whole-cloth, then I guess that's your angle.

I wouldn’t say I’m of consequence at all, but I am the EIC of a fairly sizable entertainment media site. Not that I care enough about my job to go blabbing anything - the only scoopz I hunt for on Inforoo are festival bookings.
Anyway, just saying, if opsec is genuinely a concern, be even more careful, maybe.

This is referencing source protection not Mazin's reputation. I think Mazin's reputation is probably fine regardless. You're consistently conflating those two things. That's an explanation of why I don't want to name the podcast.
