Heard on a podcast that Pascal allegedly murdered someone on the set with a pulse blaster while dressed head to toe in some type of armor.
I will not tell you what podcast I heard this on. I will not tell you the podcast's source. I will not tell you how close this source was to the alleged incident. I will not tell you if this source is reputable. I will not even tell you what was actually said on the podcast. Just trust me, bro.
To the simpering morons who'd ask me simple follow-up questions about this bold claim just let me say:
Look I get you guys don't want it to be true and stuff but I don't think I've done anything wrong here. I've been as open as I need to be about everything.

Believe me or don't lol I don't care. If I said a friend told me and you asked my friend's name I wouldn't tell you. You're just mad I'm not telling you where I heard it. You're not owed that. Sorry.
And I did tell you everything I heard. If I knew more, I would tell you.
I understand not wanting to send us the MP3 file, but saying you can't discuss what was said on a paywalled podcast, or at least discuss what podcast it was said on is...odd?
It really isn't. If someone searches "Mazin assault" and the podcast name comes up then I'm at fault for blowing this guy's spot up. It's very common for paywalled pods to have a keep-this-between-friends vibe. If I thought anyone of consequence was on Inforoo I wouldn't share, but since like twenty people participate in this thread I thought it would be fine. I'm not going to Vulture or whatever with this.
Lol what? If they actually wanted to keep on the DL, they would've either edited it out or simply have never said it on a podcast available to the public. Don't put yourself on some pedestal as if you're solely responsible for this news and as if you'd have ANY fault for this getting out as a listener. You pulling this "teehee I heard a nasty rumor but I'm not gonna say which podcast it's from!!!" shit is so juvenile.

We share rumors on this website all the time. I'm not telling you where I heard it. Get over it.

People who speak out about someone who's caused harm is (hopefully) intending to rectify the harm caused. When they say it in a public space, it's a way to get attention to the issue and get the truth out there, past the well-paid people in power who would like to hide the truth in order to keep their profits and control over the narrative. Also, it's a way for the public to be informed about someone's character and actions, so they can reconsider their support.
So in all of that, why wouldn't you tell us what podcast it is? Maybe there are those of us who want to be informed and make our own decisions. Do you understand how all of this feels so weird, when you refuse to tell us the source material so we can also share in the information?

I don't think telling you the name of the podcast would help bring Craig Mazin to justice IF he even did this which I'm not sure of because it's just something I've heard!

It feels like you're all just mad I'm not saying what podcast it was and you're pulling out all the rhetorical stops to manipulate me into telling you.

...no one is manipulating you. We want to be informed viewers. You do you, I guess. It's just so weird.

I've explained it thoroughly. If you don't understand, I'm sorry.

The fact that you shared this with us, expect us to believe it without questioning despite its dubious source and now want to move on is fucking weird. You wanting to drop it gives the impression you either just wanted to stir the shit with random ass rumors or you in some way are cool with assault. It's one thing to get scoops from a friend that you don't wanna bust but these aren't your friends, it's a podcast you listen to and expressing this "loyalty" to them is super fucking weird. And if they actually were your friends, you probably should've just kept your mouth shut if you didn't want this getting out (if true, BIG if).
I realize you're not going to say anything else, just know you're being a creep about this and your behavior on this is super bizarre.

I don't expect you to believe me and I've literally stated otherwise. You're being disingenuous and ascribing motivations and actions to me that aren't even there, so I really don't care whether you think I'm a "creep" or not, buddy.

Just pm me the deetz and in a few days I'll drop it into the thread all casual like.

So you dropped a piece of information that someone accused a guy behind this very popular show of doing something shitty, but you gave literally no information other than that it was on a podcast, not who said it, what they were talking about, what podcast, nothing. And then you act like people are being intrusive/entitled/obnoxious/whatever when they ask for a little bit of context. With no context, it’s impossible to make any sort of evaluation about the allegation, and by acting like that’s not frustrating, it seems like you’re being kind of obtuse. What was the point of sharing that part of the information if you weren’t going to say anything else? You’re obviously under no obligation to say more, but like, why bring it up in the first place then?

Because it's an interesting piece of information whether I tell you where I heard it or not. I'm not acting like I'm anything, I just have a boundary I'm not crossing.
im with piggy pablo on this, we never push infinitypass to share her sources with us. he heard something interesting, wanted to share and didnt want to share his source. no need to dogpile on him for setting a clear and reasonable boundary

I think people are more annoyed with how the news was first introduced then acting like it wasn’t a very vague statement to make. If they were just to say, I heard behind this paywalled podcast that this may have allegedly happened and I don’t have much more news, it’ll be different. Think there’s a big difference from someone with a reputable history of breaking news saying ‘Bieber is headlining Coachella’ to a random comment that the showrunner of the show you love and have cried to could be a piece of shit on the same set. It makes sense people would have such an emotional reaction to it.

Yeah, but here's the thing: This was posted a couple of days ago, which means the podcast ep. in question would already be at least a couple of days old. This morning, I did a fairly thorough search of Google News, reddit, Twitter...and there's nothing about this percolating out there at all. This being the Internet, one would expect a hot-button allegation like this about one of the main creatives behind an incredibly popular show like TLOU to spread like wildfire. Not only is that not happening, in this case, but it's just not out there in the slightest.
I've never heard of a paywalled podcast bringing with it the expectation that its listeners will adhere to some sort of cone of silence, but even if that were the case, that something this potentially big and damaging would stay completely inside of it given an audience of any size whatsoever would be pretty unusual.
So, either the story is somehow being suppressed - fun to think about from a conspiracy standpoint, but also, again, super-hard to do once something gets out there in the modern media landscape - or something's rotten in Denmark. It is weird to not even be able to name the podcast where one hears something like this - paywalled or not, I've never heard of anyone doing a podcast who didn't want people to know about it *at all*...and, if someone did have a podcast like that, I'd really wonder why their goal is for no one to find out about this media effort they're sinking time and money into.
Anyway. It's just weird. Does that mean it's wrong? I can't really say - I guess we'll see what happens.
I do think the infinitypass comparison is off, though - nobody gives her shit because she has a track record of being right (except for the Drake thing, which was just *chef's kiss*).
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?
