New festival being put on by AEG. Festival will be held in 3 cities in the same region over a weekend in June with headliners playing in each city on different nights (think Reading + Leeds)
Cities include: LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, Chicago, DC, NYC, Boston and Columbus
Definitely going to try to hit up the Boygenius and LCD days in NYC even though Forrest Hills is a pain to get to
But it's by far the best venue in the city if the weather cooperates. Big, but intimate. Not really many bad seats in the house. Decent-to-good sound, depending. I've been saying for a minute that it'd be the perfect fit for LCD Soundsystem given where they are in the trajectory of what they're able to draw.

I'm surprised at Central Park being the location for Atlanta but much prefer it to Lakewood. Guess they'll just use the field where the main stage is for Shaky.
Definitely on board for LCD/Jamie/Idles. I'm sure Boygenius/Clairo will be good, but oh god that's gonna be an obnoxious crowd.
Phoebe stans already complaining that this isnt "a solo show". And also upset its ga. Steve Lacy crowd might be just as bad since all the Tik Tock kids will be showing up.

I posted this in the other thread, but keep in mind before purchasing that single day passes are transferrable but 3 day passes are NOT transferrable. I don't understand why. Very odd.
"Can I transfer tickets to my friends? Single day tickets will be transferable. 3-Day tickets are non-transferable."

Interesting take on the festival model: one stage, full sets. I like it! Full LCD and Jamie XX sets! The LA market is so saturated with fests, especially if Primavera and Ain't No Picnic come back. Definitely in for LCD. What do you guys think "... and more" means for the LCD set of artists? BTW ... the San Diego site is Thrive Park ... the big grass field next to Snapdragon Stadium.

he should've worked harder for longer and been in some other bands first.

Just want to clear up Steve is in The Internet (not backing band) and he is still with the internet. They are just on a hiatus doing solo stuff. Just thought to clear that up.
