Checked a few of the FAQs and Atlanta is the only one without "NO Weapons of any Kind (Includes Guns, Ammo, Pocket Knives, Pepper Spray, etc.)" listed. I guess they are waiting to see how Shaky Knees goes down?
Lol I got absolutely destroyed the other night for saying I didnt know a song because I don't listen to the radio. Like, ok you old fucking hipster, wtf is radio

Setting aside the technology of it all, the key difference between radio and modern music streaming platforms, YouTube, etc. is that with radio, you get to choose the station you listen to, but not the specific songs they play, which has its advantages and disadvantages. You get exposed to artists you've never heard or heard of before, but you have to wade through a lot of things you're probably not going to like to get to them. Sure, you can opt for streaming platform playlists which others have curated, or which were generated by algorithms, which will expose you to new music, but if you wind up building your own playlists instead of listening to music which other people selected, you can now listen to music for a long time without hearing something that's new to you.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
really not a big fan of steve, i’ll prob stay for him and give him a chance but its not clicking for me. James blake and Toro Y Moi will be phenomenal tho

Saw both Toro and James Blake last year and both shows were incredible. Feel the same another Steve Lacey.
Does Columbus have the venue with the smallest capacity?
Frost holds 8k so its on the lower end. I mean LA will be 20k if it sells out which theres no way it will.
I can't help thinking that larger venues may be cut down in size with more limited space available so that all 12 venues will have roughly the same capacity. Don't they basically need to configure things like the stages, PA, design, lighting & video to spaces of roughly equal size, so they can truck everything to the next venue each Monday and have the same set-up work there, too?
The only way they could swing venues of differing size is if they have, say, one stage/PA that's larger than the other two and that one goes to the largest of the three venues each weekend (or one that's specifically smaller, for the smallest of the three venues.)

Well for example, the Stanford spot is an actual venue. Theres nothing that changes there. Pasadena and San Diego need separate set ups.

I imagine it would be way, way cheaper to rent 12 different stages for three days each than ship 3 around the country for a month. Plenty of local production houses to supply them.

But your PA, lighting rig, and video display hardware still need to be tailored to the size of the venue and the stage, right?

I meant all of that when I said stage. They're just gonna rent local stuff in each city, so yes it will be tailored.

Well they own a lot of infrastructure. Probably not costing as much to move your own staging around.
San Diego VIP: -- Viewing area -- Separate restrooms -- Exclusive bar -- VIP parking
LA VIP (basically a regurgitation of the typical Brookside VIP fest setup): -- Dedicated VIP entry lane -- Expansive VIP area (may not include the super upfront viewing area cuz they mention shade and seating) -- Dedicated VIP merch stand -- Fast Lane Access at Main Merch stand -- Exclusive food and beverage offerings (I wonder if this is the same free food and drinks they offered to Clubhouse ticketholders at TANP. Probably not at this price-point.) -- AC restrooms
I guess the VIP parking may justify the price for San Diego VIP if it doesn't include all the LA perks. And it sounds like they expect a bigger draw for the LA one.
I am so paranoid that I'm not going to get my code in time for the presale.
All I could think about while watching Steve Lacy perform on the Grammys last night was, "This is really going to drive up demand for Re:SET Boston tickets."
I am so paranoid that I'm not going to get my code in time for the presale.
So, the question is whether everyone who registered gets a presale code or if only some percentage of registrants receive them. But if you haven't received it yet, don't worry.

everyone gets a code and then enters a queue. usually it's not even a unique code which seems silly to me, but the registration is honestly just a way to mine user data.
