May be going back this year!! So so good for my tastes. Love the No Vacation comeback incoming and Aespa is a welcome surprise! Queen Mother on any lineup is a win too, thinking real hard about this one

Probably better than the last few, even with Kendrick doing a lot of the heavy lifting at the top, but still not back at the level that got me to this festival in the early-to-mid 2010's. Also goddamn Interpol's stock has fallen.

Pretty solid lineup, the undercard is deeeeep. Grace Ives, Nation of Language, TOPS, Wednesday, Ethel Cain, all terrific for the second half. Plus Alex G, Soccer Mommy, Alvvays, Interpol, The 1975, Beabadoobee... some great indie rock choices

I feel like #15 in 2023 is extremely good booking for Interpol, a band that never had any real hits
gotta say good for Kendrick getting #1 billing. really insane that he hasn't even headlined stadiums yet hes above Foos who have. I'd have to think whenever he tours again it'll be baseball or football stadiums at this point. esp given how well his tour sold

It is a bit of walking and some terrain so hopefully the schedule doesnt force you to go from opposite ends of the fest a lot. Sound issues will be a thing as most anyone who has been can attest to. Lots of great food options and you get 10 - 15% off on merch if you use your Chase card to buy. They do have Heineken House and also the Gastro Magic stage left to announce. Bummer theres no more comedy tent. Def going to be lots of talkers so be mindful of that in crowds.

Holy cow the talking was crazy. I am on the younger side of the crowd that flocks to this (late 20s-30s finance bros in the Bay and 20-30 year old stoners) and can those bitches TALK! Sharon Van Etten was getting down on the main and just chatty chatty chatty. Stand close to a speaker or the mix fs. Still a gorgeous ass area
OSL is pretty much every college students meet up fest before the semester begins so they all show up. And youll see lots of underage drinking since no beer jail and kids just get multiple 21+ wristbands from diff spots that give em out and hand em off.
