Thats what im planning on doing but i know some people wanted to respond and hear what I said. so I just wanted to hear that before locking in a vote. I should probably just do it now lest I get browbeaten again so
I shouldve voted pink off when I had the chance. none of the whacks have coincided with any of the inspector claims that pink and dan were supporting. Pretty much got shouted into not voting off a possible maf. Not making the same mistake this time. It makes no sense if pink had a legitimate claim thay maf wouldnt whack. Or if pink was dans given then they shouldve hit dan. I also feel for rummy who has been desprately trying to rally town.
Dan has been dragging on and on and on about MD inspector but that was like 10 years ago and not even close to sus as pink being glazed over on the whack. Cinci whack d2 to me is max F picking off the quiet innocent townies while we rabble about stuff that doesnt even matters. The only reason im alive is because I fucked up voting cum and have pretty much become a maf asset. Cum couldve been a maf but was nowhere near as sus as pink is now. Leaning pink. Thats the summation of my thoughts. And i swear to god if dan hits me with the “2 paragraphs of nothing” again im just gonna explode because the fact youve been flapping your gums so much is sus. You get super incredulous and loud and everyone is right about it being all the time, maf or not, since you do the same thing in resistance. But the whacks do not support anything youve been saying at all.

im not 100% sold on anyone here and for all i know, dan and rummy are playing 4d chess with us but i do know that we absolutely need to get the confirmed mafia out of this before we start trying to figure out who else might be working with her

I went back over all the posts one more time, and I just focused on the votes this time around. I tried to start from scratch in my thinking. There was a ton to sort through, but I think the most meaningful post for the pink v rummy debate is this one. Cincy said very little in this whole game, but he got whacked. He locked his vote on pink before pink came out as inspo. On the surface, his being whacked clearly looks like it points directly back to pink given that pink wasn't whacked. But I think they just took advantage of a convenient play, and pink's inexperience at being inspo (no offence pink). It feels too on the nose for me. They saw that they were able to sow some doubt that pink actually was inspo, and they probably figured that getting rid of cincy would drive home even more doubt on D3, which it has.
Why waste a whack on someone when you can just make them seem super sus and get town to do it for you?
There's still too many possibilities but from looking at MD's votes and what they said. MD moved to Durkle when runoffs started and only moved off of them to see if someone would move off of Potent. So I'm looking at the group that voted for Potent.

wait except i did forget about this post from Farris that still doesnt make much sense to me. i like that he landed on durkle but the above rationale doesnt land for me; he shouldn't only be looking at potent voters because of that movement IMO. MD if inspo could've equally likely been moving around like that to see whether someone came in to try and save potent (given) OR to gauge movement relating to his given, another person in the runoff (pink or durkle). so im just not really sure why farris narrowed it down like this.

i'd say ask dan about whether i do this as town sometimes (he knows yes i do, but he probably doesnt want to concede that here in this game); people have been annoyed with me many a time for being firm in a town read. and sometimes ive been wrong but often my gut has been right on it & i dont regret holding firm with those reads at all.

because i dont want town buying samp's BS blindly, i am bringing the receipts. contrary to what samp claimed earlier, i do not want to be fucking exiled and lose this for town.
this is from last game. i had a town read on samp (and was sadly wrong), and i spoke about it clearly - just as i did with cum/dan d2 in this game. others who have played with me a lot know this is not uncommon (and it is unfortunate that the most recent example of this, from last game, was a time that my read was off - but the point remains the same)

am staying on samp rn to not trigger an extension & i know i'll need to move next round anyway, but just for the record im definitely feeling less sus on him after the exchange we had. his votes still really dont look good, but i know ive been town before w a d1 voting record that looks sketch post reveal. it happens.
im town. otter was inspo. that leaves cum, jortles, theo. cum & jorts had their cheeky little locks on potent, but i 100% think one of them could've done that To Look Good Later On. between the two, i am more sus of jortles pulling that maneuver - but that isnt to say cum wouldn't.
out of our remaining otter voters at the 6-5 split: pink is gone, MD was town, and i lean town strongly on samp after my interaction w him near the end of d2. that leaves cinci and tranter. y'all know i find tranter most sus but cinci prob needs to go at some point too, realistically.

i just find it pretty fucking weird that you are positing an argument of me being sus BECAUSE OF a thing you saw my do directly as town last game. does it mean that i will always always be town when i claim a strong town read on someone? of course not. but to point to as a reason im suspicious here is at best lazy, at worst intentional narrative rewriting/misdirection

I said in the quoted post that I was less sus on dan and cum after going back through the votes. And I know you'll roll with your spidey senses in games, but sometimes you use that as cover as maf (see my previous post about you, as maf, dismissing dan's sus behavior in the first game I played). I have no way to tell whether your vibes check is honest or not, so I'm just going with good old fashioned evidence and reasoning. And, while I'm less sus on dan and cum than earlier, I don't see enough here for someone to just throw away the possibility that they're maf.
i have not thrown away any possibility that they're maf. from my reread, cum feels quite unlikely; dan, i've gone a bit back and forth on in D3 here, not directly because of his voting but some of the reasons he's given/things he has said that feel narrative-pushing (and of course im going to be biased in my thinking since i know im town who has been framed, and i imagine remaining maf are pulling for the direction of believing pink, though ofc one could be on pink in cover) but in D2, yes, i had a strong town read on him. that doesn't mean i'm operating under a belief that neither of them could be maf. but in this game, at some point you gotta go with inclinations/reads as a townie and work from there or you're just lost in limbo forever, not sure of what path to take.

first dan saying "no, mafia wasnt whacking cinci as potential inspo" as if it is stated fact. how would he know if he was town? by end of d2, of course i was in near-total belief that MD had been inspo, but there have absolutely been games where an early fake comes out and real inspector chooses to stay quiet through that Day to make it through the Night so they can come out immediately start of the next Day with more info. this typically happens if the fake occurs at a time when the inspector has limited useful info (e.g. in this scenario, if pink came out with his fake when cinci was actual inspector but only had potent as given or only had pink as given, so it would've given little for Town to work with if the counter was immediate). no one BUT MAFIA could've known for fact that "oh of course mafia wasnt gunning for potential inspo" when cinci whack occurred. so why is dan stating it as fact?
now samp saying same thing. i feel loony watching this discourse play out and no others jump in to question their narrative. pls can other townsfolk come engage beyond samp & dan who are in this rabbit hole of thinking im lying and unwilling to look at the other side? just fucking look at the amount of effort ive put in versus pink. this is the thing that town looks back at THE MOST with regret, in prior fakes with framing: that they sided with the person who wasn't present/who was just throwing out an occasional post but otherwise very low effort, and then the game wraps and they look back at it and realize how telling it was.
