I figured it's always been a up and comer stage. Last few years bedroom pop has been dominating that stage
yeah I think of it as a DIY/scene stage. Uncle Waffles and Nia Archives are clearly expansions on the Ela Minus booking in there last year, which was awesome. Also looked like Waffles did great in that spot; just wish it was at a time I could see her play. Curious to see how Nia pulls; it's an extremely heavy competition but she got a little soft spot in the schedule that will enable a lot of people to swing by if they want to
apparently it’s the stage for archives because they have Sudan archives there as well in almost the same spot.
My rankings on sets I watched. They were all great btw, there hasent been a bad or even average set for me so far.

Too hard for me to rank with the mini clips of Domi and Comet which would be in my top 5 otherwise. Probably tie between Chemical Brothers and Gorillaz. I’m mostly looking forward to Dinner Party today but also will watch 070 Shake, Hiatus Kaiyote, and the probably Prydz, Boygenius and some of Rosalia. I don’t know a lot of the other stuff so I hope to encounter some cool shit. Underworld who I don’t know much of and Labrinth are sleepers for me.

I doubt it. Since the switch to YouTube, every time they advertise both weekends being streamed the weekend 2 stream is a neutered, watered down version of W1.

I wonder if they’re holding the Jai Paul stream until tomorrow because he is on the poster for tomorrow, more casual viewers might not realize that he got moved up a day

I remember watching J Balvin on the stream a few years back and wanting to be in the crowd so badly. Looked like an absolute party, so I was cautiously optimistic about BB headlining this year. It just didn't do it for me last night. Makes next Friday a little easier I guess. Might just finish the night in Yuma or the Do Lab after the Chems.

J Balvin was awesome in 2019, really blew me away on Saturday. I liked it a lot more than what I saw of BB that year.
