Hiatus Kaiyote was again good. I prefer the jazz over the neo-soul but it all flows together well. Diljit dropping another great set. Probably the end of the best actual music being played (performed) today but that’s okay since they still have good singers and producers left to watch.
Edit to ask where the crowd went. I’m mostly on rewind catch-up so I’m not sure who they were opposed to. But I can’t imagine much of what Saturday later might have been better?

They didn't really a large crowd weekend 1 either. Guitars didn't really draw at Coachella this year with Blink being the exception

I liked all the jazz first which I appreciate them broadcasting. Maybe the world shit second (Sunset Rollerciaster, Diljit….). But this set is from the heart and inspired.

Lol. Maybe a couple years after that but sweet shit from Dinner Party, Domi & JD Beck, The Comet Is Coming and all. Like I said, I appreciated them broadcasting those shows. I appreciate the whole format this year. Not that I minded the OG guy who used to narrate most of it, but I like that they didn’t just record and set up a list of replays. I’d pay in the future for access if they’re going to stream stages.
Another element of this years festival is the quality of some of the late 80’s U.K. (Including Wales of course) electronica Underworld and Chemical Brothers. Boomers?
Really need to see Underworld again. It would have been so easy for them to add a Chicago show in May since they are playing Movement Memorial Day weekend.

Thinking about that guy in the Coach thread who asked if it was okay to bring his tripping friends to Underworld. This set is incredible but at least the first portion had an air to it that'd feel intense and sinister in that state. Or maybe it'd be the best thing ever. Can't quite tell.

Really hoping for fall dates around the new album. I assume they're a lock to headline Portola.
