Yes, exactly. Plenty of rock bands that are dancy/electronic-y, etc. But they're doing straight up rock and roll. It's almost strokes-y. I wish there were more like 'em.

as someone who finds The Strokes incredibly mid, I agree lol. it's cool to see, hoping they keep growing into it

I agree, I don't dislike their sound. Not at their best, but still pretty good.

I’m prepared to get flamed, but am I the only one who finds Blink embarrassing? Really embarrassing to see 50 year old dudes sing these songs, but then again, I never understood the appeal.

Look, I could still jam out to Blink. I listened to so much of them growing up but I have no urge whatsoever to see them in 2023 and I don't understand how the appeal is still so high. This is pretty boring and they're acting and talking like 13 year olds lmao

growing up in Socal, Blink was like the coming of age band for a whole generation. that's where the love comes from
