Probably a cold ass take, but the returning to the desert billing is so obnoxious. Being billed below the whole line-up should only be reserved for actually special things like the Kanye-thing or Despacio.

I don't mind it because it frees up a headliner spot that would otherwise go to a cheesy EDM set (if we're going by history)
Coachella has seemed to figure out how to get a bunch of headline level artists on one bill without upsetting egos/future billing. So having someone like Kaskade at the bottom is cool with me if they can continue to get unique bookings like Blackpink Bjork on the bill
i would hate to see Lizzo's name and the killers have been touring non-stop for the last few years. plus headlining LIB. that doesn't seem like a good get to me

I think Killers as a sub would be a solid booking, they put on a great show despite being underwhelming as a headliner due to how much they tour.

Totally, but if you told me this time last year they'd pull off Bad Bunny - BLACKPINK - Frank - Gorillaz - Bjork - Rosalia - Calvin I would've said the same thing. I think the 1-7 of this year and my '24 prediction aren't too dissimilar.

I get that Coachella went big this year but are people forgetting that both Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean asked for acts like Gorillaz and Björk to open before them? Not sure RATM would be asking for the Killers or Tyler accepting anything but headliner right now especially since he turned down a replacement headliner spot before.
