I’m wondering if we’re gonna get some spicy dash/body cam footage out of this arrest. Dude is licking the entire boot in that tweet and either he *really* loves cops or he’s trying to get out ahead of something.
He has a number 1 song and album on the modern country charts he's just trying to protect his sales lmao
Would be kind of weird to have the biggest act on the lineup(unless they got Taylor) as sub wouldn’t it?
ok Zach Bryan is not bigger than Dua Lipa.
I dunno about that. Comparing what Dua Lipa did on her last tour vs. what Zach Bryan is doing now, he's definitely hitting bigger venues than she did. For example, both did/are doing Chicago but while Dua did one night at the United Center, Zach is doing three nights there and it's a similar story for nearly every other city. I also don't recall Dua ever having the same kind of insane resale value that Zach's tour is having right now. Plus, Zach has a #1 album and #1 song, something Dua hasn't achieved yet (but maybe could on her next album).
Worldwide popularity, no I'd side with Dua on that but in the US? It might be Zach. Could also be a case of Dua having a much wider broad appeal with a larger fanbase of casual listeners while Zach having a smaller yet more dedicated fanbase who will actually spend money on him in greater numbers.
Dua did one night at the UC because she also was #2 at Lollapalooza last year.
Which wasn't announced until nearly two weeks after her UC date.
It's not just Chicago either. For Vegas, she did one T-Mobile Arena show while Zach is doing two. For New York, Dua did one MSG show, Zach did two Barclays Center shows (both about the same capacity). Boston, Dua did an arena, Zach is doing a stadium. I can keep going...

Ya but from what? He could have protected his sales with “I’m made a mistake and I’m gonna pray about it and be better” without ten mentions of how much he loves the cops.
I mean right wing media will run with anything they can do to get their base outraged, hes trying to get ahead of "Zach Bryan hates cops" being a chyron on Fox News tomorrow
I mean he probably did tell the cop off based on the way his story sounds. From the instagram story where he explains the whole thing, I think you can read between the lines that he's more pissed about it than letting on but wants it behind him before it's a big thing
She might not be bigger in the U.S. but Dua is definitely better and unlike Zach Bryan she doesn't price gouge her fans. I paid $80 after fees for a 300 level show at the United Center. Just checked the price for Mr. I hate Ticketmaster and it's over $250 for in the same level.

I did think of arguing this more because I think she’ll go bigger on the next tour but that’s a hypothetical. And also the more I thought about it the more I realized I am so fucking sick of talking about Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen in this exact moment, and, to be honest, most headliners at this point. Have a great day!
I want to know who our equivalents to Jupiter & Okwess and The Comet Is Coming are this year. I want to know who the cool international acts are. I want to know if the Yuma is going to be halfway decent or not this year (in b4 “it won’t be”). I was to know if Jessie Ware is no longer too disappointed at the moment to play Coachella again. If Zach Bryan plays I almost certainly won’t see him so I don’t know why I bothered giving a fuck in the first place!!! Is SebastiAn going to play against that motherfucker in the Gobi or what??

Hi sir, do you have a moment to talk about Zach Bryan?

Didn’t someone leak the entire Pitchfork lineup this year and the only mistake was D’Angelo instead of Bon Iver? Obviously Coachella dropped a bag to get him instead.

It's insane. He was charging $320 for pit at the DC show and the lower bowl was in the same price range too. This is before fees were even included
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

Don't give me hope. D'Angelo hasn't dropped in almost 9 years 😭 Unfortunately I don't think he'd pull a big crowd at Coachella, but I'd love him being there regardless. Hopefully playing LA local to catch him in a better setting
If J Balvin and Bad Bunny could be 6th and 5th on their day in 2019, Zach could be a sub in 2024. They were both much bigger than Gambino and Tame Impala that year, and definitely bigger than any other 2nd liners that year. Genre definitely plays a part here and I don't think they're gonna let country headline (yet)
This Teezo Touchdown album is excellent, would love to get him on the undercard. One of the most "unique" artists I've heard in a long time in terms of sound and lyrics

Ezra Collective just won the Mercury. Maybe its them.

He backed out so they had to get Bon Iver. Dude is just slippery.

Coachella is the better setting. He would play tent at night to a crowd that would be psyched (think Jai Paul this year). If he just does an LA date it will be the Hollywood Bowl on a Wednesday to a seated crowd.

Zach is still playing stadiums while J Balvin and Bad Bunny weren't doing that then. Can't say there's ever been a sub that's done that before. That would easily make him the biggest sub Coachella has ever had. And it's not like country is some niche genre. Coachella has already had multiple country artists play. 4 of the top 10 songs right now are country and that's not just coming from a small demo.
If BLACKPINK can headline then I see no reason why Zach Bryan can't. Literally all these same arguments could've been applied to them last year too yet they still headlined.

After seeing Janet Jackson at the Hollywood Bowl, I don't see how that wouldn't be a better setting to see D'Angelo than him in the Mojave lol seated works for r&b
D'Angelo cancelled his Orlando show nearly 10 years ago and hasn't played live since. Dope song in Red Dead Redemption 2, though
Last did some shows in Paris about 5 years ago. But the fact that Pitchfork almost got him is reason enough to believe it's still a possiblity. Supposedly a ton of songs are already recorded for his new album, if that ever sees the light of day.

Don’t think those Paris shows actually happened, if you’re going off Songkick
