Arcade Fire at Forecastle 2018 was legit the best set I've ever seen, of anyone, anywhere. They sort of disappeared after with the allegations so I wonder how thy perform now.
The poster looks a little light when comparing Fri to Sat. Just did a quick year over year compare and Friday is currently at 20 vs 22 on the final poster last year. Sat is at 23 vs 23. Sun is at 19 vs 19.
So I guess we might get a couple of Friday adds. Kind of crazy considering that day already looks pretty good as/is.
What the hell else can we fit on Friday? LOL. I noticed IDLES, MGMT and Bleachers were absent from the schedule (All bands that have a new album coming up), but I think all the big slots have been filled in. I already have like... 8 bands I want to see on Friday and at least 4 people are recommending to me.

Fair. I don't think incubus was top line like queens though, right? Arcade fire might be just that but I still wonder about Queens since they're on the top line.
What's funny to me is that this lineup looks better if either queens or arcade fire are the first band on Sunday and foo fighters are gone.
It's a helluva lot cheaper, too. Not sure how many tickets foo are gonna move two and a half years after playing cause I feel like shake has as many repeat attendees as any festival I've been to. Probably a lot, but I still think it lacks the distraction of irritation with queens or Arcade Fire in their place.
oh i forgot to respond to this. Beck and Incubus were both top card. So same as Queens and Weezer.

Coming to terms that I'm going to want to act like a goofball during Switchfoot but I'll be surrounded by dudes in sunglasses holding a beer with their arms folded taking the music very seriously

I sorta just jump around while wearing sunglasses with beer in my hands with my arms unfolded secretly nervous that people are judging me because my jumping around is really how I dance and I just smoked a fat joint so I’m paranoid everyone is staring at me but the sun feels so good and the music feels even better and then the beer kicks in and I fart and smile because nobody could hear it.

Yeah Arcade Fire at Voodoo fest 2017 was my be of the best sets I’ve ever seen live. Up there in my top 5 of all time
Arcade Fire 2014 in Nashville was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It was May 1, 2014 so will be right at 10 years when SK comes around. Cant wait.
That's kinda what I'm thinking. If this is Ocean's Calling which another Sweetwood festival (granted smaller budget), I'd be thrilled. I have to scope out 2024 to see if this is in the cards. Might wait for Roo's lineup.

The more I think and look at this, the lineup is quite good with a cool undercard and I want to come. Could leave early Sunday and not have to take off work Monday which is a plus.
