I've come full circle. I started going "Whomst? I could see him taking the Hozier slot" then "Okay, yeah, I really like Stick Season" and now with this tweet "okay I like Noah Kahan" lmao.

1. Pond – Was anyone at the show the last time they played Shaky? One of my top five shows ever and my favorite Shaky show ever by far. I'll attach a photo below from the show. It felt like the lead singer (Nick Allbrook) spent more time in the crowd than on stage. Look at the joy on dude's face on the rail.
2. Arcade Fire - I’m still torn on this. Is Win a bad enough dude to not watch this show when I love the band? I still don’t know.
3. Miike Snow – Never seen him/them but I feel like this is a rare/cool booking. Where should I start?
4. Interpol – I missed them last time. Where should I shart?
5. Metric – Open to suggestions on what to listen to on this as well.
6. Winona Fighter
7. Wine Lips
8. Been Stellar – Someone on here turned me on to them. Can't remember who, but thanks. Looking forward to it.
9. Erik Slick – I’ve met him a few times when he was the drummer for Dr. Dog. Super cool dude and very talented.
10. Noah Kahan – I’ll see what all the fuss is about. Not a genre I like but I’m gonna give it a shot cause I just like the guy. I enjoyed his SNL a bit, too. He seems different than Lumineers/Mumford to me for some reason. Not exited about Weezer/Queens really cause I’ve seen them both a ton. Foo is the laziest booking this year other than the combo of chili pepps/Post Malone deal at Roo so Kahan is the only headliner I’m remotely excited about, plus this will be the biggest show he’s headlined at this point, I think. High Water is a bit smaller.
Unbelievably, the first lineup of the season is my favorite lineup of the year. The more lineups that came out, the better this looked. Plus Tim does such a good job of getting things before others, I'm looking forward to digging in to the bottom.
Speaking of, I need help with some undercard acts, please! Lay your suggestions on me. There are over a dozen I'm unfamiliar with.
late night drive home added... hopefully we get some more adds
Still expecting something else on Sunday unless the band count is just going down this year.
I’d hope not considering last year was a sell out and from what I can tell, this doesn’t seem like a super expensive lineup compared to previous years. 🤷🏻♂️
I had a bunch of these made up for bonnaroo last year. I can get another run printed if there's enough interest. these were the colors last year, but I gotta double check on the color availability. they were $20.
I'm not going to shaky, so i'd either need to ship em to you individually, or one person who is willing to hand em out.

if you google The Kooks Atlanta, Shaky comes up. Idk if thats ever been accurate but them being added late would be really cool. Would make sense given no adds came after Coachella so they probably have some artists who have Atlanta dates before they can announce.

They played one year maybe 15?
yeah could be leftover data but I can't see it for any other artists I try

I was at that show - It was amazing!
been listening to them a lot and am now v looking forward to seeing em
yeah honestly, Miike Snow vs QOTSA, Offspring vs Sunny Day and Dead Poet Society vs Royal Blood are my worst conflicts but this schedule is just about best case scenario.
Friday: Ax and the Hatchetmen vs Winona Fighter > Pigsx7 > Wine Lips > Pond > Psychedelic Porn Crumpets > Young The Giant > Interpol > Arcade Fire
I’ve seen All Them Witches 3 times, have never seen YTG, don’t judge me.
Saturday: Quarters of Change > Chicano Batman > Royal Blood > The Offspring > Palace > Miike Snow > Weezer
Miike Snow vs QotSA is what I anticipated. Not the biggest QotSA fan, but wanted to see them again. I was napping half their set last time. But Miike Snow seems rarer.
Sunday: Nova Twins > Men I Trust vs Kingfish > Dinosaur Jr. > Billy Idol vs Kevin Morby > Portugal. The Man
I think I’ve passed up Billy Idol twice now at fests and I really want to see him. So hopefully Kevin Morby gets a late night set the night before and I’ll do that, but sad because I was really getting into him. Men I Trust vs Kingfish isn’t the worst. I saw both at Roo this past year so I could easily choose either and might just decide which one when I’m there. Not seeing Matt & Kim again is killing my youths self. But again I love Portugal. way to much and I know they’ll finally close with Sleep Forever or play Noise Pollution or something I’m still trying to see.
Overall VERY VERY happy with this schedule. Very minimal conflicts for me. But I can see why it’s rough for others in some areas.
Wow Foo is getting a massive set. I'm a fan so this doesn't really bother me.
Most likely for me:
Fri: Winona Fighter -> Pigs x7 -> Pond* -> All Them Witches** -> Switchfoot -> Arcade Fire -> Noah Kahan Sat: Been Stellar -> Pool Kids -> Quarters -> Microwave -> Royal Blood -> Offspring -> QOTSA -> Weezer Sun: Royel Otis -> Struts -> Dinosaur JR -> Billy Idol -> Matt and Kim -> FOO
Seems most of what I want to see on Fri/Sat are at Ponce. Hopefully it isn't brutal weather. We'll probably head over to criminal in between Ponce sets.
*Pond not Pong lol
**But of course ATM is vs. YTG. I want to see YTG too and I know my wife will trend towards YTG so this might be a toss up.
Schedule looks like a ton of fun. Yves/AF and Waxahatchee/Dino Jr are pretty much the only conflicts that would give me pause.
Anyone else going to Yves?
man I would but Arcade Fire is literally one of my favorite bands. I'm holding out a bit for Yves Tumor late night show, but Miike Snow late show takes priority.
