Those of you just getting into Pavement, please do not miss. Saw them thrice this tour, and it’s likely their last, possibly the most fun i’ve had at a show ever.

People have mixed opinions on Greatest Hits compilations, but theirs is great. They re-mixed (not remixed) all the songs.

price for GA has now increased to $150, with fees it comes out to $170ish. also they updated their FAQ’s and they won’t be doing individual one-day passes this year. nothing about individual show passes though which they did do last year
They are essentially quasi-official free shows that bars/restaurants will hold during the day before the official start of Hopscotch throughout the downtown area. Usually run from 12 PM - 5 PM with some sort of collaboration between record labels/bars etc. Hopscotch has promoted them in the past and released schedules. Usually a number of the lower tier bands will play them as well as Hopscotch and other local acts but every once in a while you get a surprise.
