I only went night 1 and damn I’m so glad that I did. It Still Moves is one of my favorite albums. Run Thru and Steam Engine were great as always and I really loved that “encore” set.

great night on saturday - agree some odd set picks (i.e. love love love closer) but cobra and lay low made up for it and then some for me. Jake Jortles great to meet you and appreciate you swinging by and admitting in front of my wedding party that we post on here lol
red rocks once again the best place to see a show i've ever been to
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Pretty crazy luck that I just looked back a couple planters up and saw the construction shirts. I swear I thought about it, looked back for the shirts and saw them in the first place I looked.

Now that I think of it, I saw someone wearing a shirt Sat night that said Jacksonville Beach FL. On the walk down to Lower South.
I was just being a baby. Wanted a couple of specific songs which is always dangerous.
Yeah, with a catalogue like theirs, there is just too much to keep hopes too high for any specific song(s). It was a unique and special set list and they have just been on fire in general. Jim especially has been turning it up. I never was a a craaaaazy Jim girl, but man, he had me feeling feelings on Saturday. I was enamored by him.

Horrendous setlist. Seriously horrific setlist. Bad bad bad
Ice cold take. Butch Cassidy, Anytime opener, multi part Cobra, meme run of At Dawn -> First Light -> Twilight -> The Dark, first time Cat Stevens cover, etc. Super jealous of everyone who saw that show.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Im trying to think if that was someone in my group. I was just in a Jags shirt.

I've already mentioned I was just being a baby, but either way none of the songs you listed here are highlights of their discog minus At Dawn imo.

Since Roo...
Newport Folk was a solid festival set, Steam opener is always special. It's just a special place.
Did both Greek Theatre shows (was supposed to do Hollywood Bowl as well until postponement). I love Fleet Foxes as well so this was a great co-headlining booking for me. Saturday was the better show as the Fleet Foxes into MMJ is a better trajectory, plus they had a heater run of Dondante>Twilight>OTR>Touch Me 2>Wordless to close it down. Big bucket list venue for me so glad I went.
Also went to Red Rocks, never miss this run, Saturday was special - an all-time Jacket encore for me. I don't even love Cobra as a song that much, what they did was just arranged and executed in superb fashion. It Still Moves is a great album, but it's less exciting knowing what's coming, that's one of the special things of a Jacket show. I still liked Friday, but I loved the surprise of Saturday. I get what they were trying to do having Love Love Love close that run of shows but a Phone closer there would've elevated the show to all-time status for me.
Just some thoughts, will be at the Beacon run, New Orleans for Halloween, St. Louis, and the Chicago run...cheers
