Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's going to eventually just become "things that annoy me" thread but I do like the concept and have enjoyed the takes so far
Within hours it turned into the "inforoo youths disrespecting their elders" thread. We basically created Bonnaroo culture and this is the thanks we get? I didn't fight a secret war to cleanse the campgrounds of violent luminescent ghosts at Bonnaroo 2003 just so 20 years later some upstart punk can "but actually" my takes.
The violent luminescent ghosts thing might have just been the mescaline but my point stands.
People are way too lax with their dogs. You wouldn't let your teenager jump all over someone and say "oh he's just like that, he's not mean " so why can you do it with an emasculated wolf
Breweries are halfway to becoming dog parks and i hate it

I see big dogs everywhere I go now. Not reasonably sized service animals with a working dog vest on. Just giant dogs going up and down aisles in stores. It hasn't been a real problem for me but it's been a surprising change I've noticed the past few years.

Back in my day when you were a tipped employee, it was because you were actually providing customer service with a decent amount of skill - not handing me a bag or pizza.
Also your dogs don't need to stay in an temperature controlled environment 100% of the time. I get bringing them in for severe weather but they aren't as fragile as you are. It isn't animal abuse to have a outside/farm dog.

I draw the line at tipping you for operating a cash register.

In Jamaica dogs and cats are not usually allowed indoors. My grandparents have about 8-12 dogs (depends on the time) that come through, and almost 20 cats (because they often have multiple babies and stick to one area). They get fed but usually not as much as they need honestly, but they wander their.. they are mostly field animals.. minus the kitty that my Grandma has gotten kinda attached to.
To be fair, this was my Uncle's dog and he stopped eating when he passed, he's thinner than usual

I’ve been curating the playlists on my iPod for 15+ years. You will have to pry it from my cold, dead hands. And then I STILL won’t use Spotify.
Yeah, I still have mine at the house with a speaker setup in my workout room but finally gave in to streaming to keep up with new releases and all you wackos on here in Album of Month and Tell Us About New Music, etc.

My battery keeps draining too quickly, if I had a power slot connected to it, I usually bring it but Spotify sucked me up and I would need to download a lot of material to remake all those playlists. They don got me.

I DID NOT like paying for a 10 dollar lemonade or coffee and being forced to tip on top of it. No coffee is that goddamn good.

We had an outside cat that adopted us. We fed it and took it to the vet - had a little outside house with a heater. I'm crazy allergic and have been hospitalized for allergy induced asthma as a child. These mfers were acting like I was out here kicking kittens bc I didn't let it live inside. We always grew up with a plethora of farm animals, most that ppl dropped off and they never came inside unless it was snowing. I promise, those farm dogs and cats had a better life than your Sir Pugsly the 2nd.
I don't want to be on my phone, the battery dies too quickly, and I liked that they were curated. Also, just very millennial. They were sentimental as I had one of the very first editions ever, probably, my freshman year of high school.
I had an 8th grade student try to tell me that using AI to help write essays is just like using a calculator to work out math problems and NO IT FUCKING ISN’T.
We’re creating a generation of adults who aren’t going to know how to read, write, do basic math, or talk to each other when the WiFi isn’t working.
