After consideration I'm going to hold off on Model/Actriz, I'm just going to see them at the festival I think. I know it'll be wild though =/
Another aftershow that's not an official aftershow this weekend is DJ Tennis at Smart Bar on Friday night. Since I'm leaving after Jai Paul I might end up going to this, love DJ Tennis and DJ Heather is great too
Smart Bar doesn't have a show announced for Saturday of this weekend yet but I feel like they normally have a footwork/juke DJ one of the nights (not sure if on purpose or just coincidence) so maybe that for Saturday

Fuck it. Went on a spending spree today and made a last minute decision to see ML Buch in Baltimore tomorrow to knock out that conflict. Also went on and picked up a L’Rain/ Model Actriz ticket at the Empty Bottle.
So with everything announced and just three weeks out, should we be discussing Brunch or where to meet up on Friday night? Angry Black Men are playing at Cobra Lounge for like $15. I’d happily see them again and drink with friends, just saying.
I’ve decided to go on and do David Nance on Thursday. If you haven’t listened to Nance, you should. He’s an incredible songwriter in that Midwestern sort of way.
Still up in the air for Sunday but leaning towards Lifeguard w/ Font. I have an early flight but fuck it. I’ll sleep when I’m home.
Decided on the Lifeguard after. Font is opening and I have feeling they’re gonna be talked a lot about the back half of the year. Plus, apparently, the Nala show starts during Alanis and I’m kinda excited about that one.

I was thinking about this today - I know it’s mostly GL and I in this thread talking (and then texting each other lol) but if anyone else wants to play hooky on BPs and go to a bar afterwards, would you prefer somewhere divey or classy? If the latter I was thinking about how most loop based rooftop bars are open late at night, if the former I’ll think of something lol.
So now how is the interview stage gonna work. Not that it was ever an issue for people and such. Like no more door dash confirmation and stuff? Still find it hard to believe more festivals dont sell cold brew when its clearly in demand.

So they went to all that trouble to do the vip front viewing and platform stuff only to make it the same as it used to be? What a joke.
I’m hoping they’re adjusting it, honestly. There’s gonna be a riot if they remove all of it and don’t issue partial refunds for a glorified PLUS pass.
I’m also betting that sold A LOT less than they think it would and adjusting for that, considering VIP has been close to sell out for a few weeks now and a week till the festival.
Just got an email from Pitchfork with a discount code that unlocks Tier 1 pricing "for a friend," since I bought early bird this year. Must be fairly undersold
