I don’t think the seating is going to be under the tent like years past. Looks like they have a sign up list for ADA. I’m guessing that’s so they will only have seats for ADA.
How about put some generic stomp clap on the Fort, and then KM in the Quad. All the real people know where to go.

I am pumped for killer Mike, but if it conflicts with Gillian and Dave, I’ll be with them. But I would love if KM was counter programming to whatever generic radio folk shit they book. (Probably caamp for the 5th time)

It’s weird to be worried about the conflicts when there are only 3 announcements for Saturday so far, but I’m right there with you haha. Really looking forward to both those sets. And honestly, I like what I’ve heard from Reyna too

Haha no judgment here! I think KM will be on the Quad and I agree with Gillian being either Quad closer or pre-headline Fort.

Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised that the overwhelming majority seem either a) hyped or b) at least open and curious. The only real voices of dissent have been the 4-chan level MAGA dudes who clearly just popped in to troll.
As someone who met the singers parents in line last year, I’m happy for them lol. Apparently he did the busking stage one year and got invited to play the bike stage last year. So for them to get booked on one of the main stages is pretty cool.
But yeah, it’s more of that “stomp, clap” tik tok folk shit.

I agree with this. They’ve earned a slot on the main lineup, so I’m happy for them and I love seeing that growth. But I’ve also now seen them two years in a row and they’re not a band I need to see three years in a row. (But if there’s no conflict and I make the trek this year, I’ll probably enjoy their set.)
It’s funny we were just chatting about Caamp and then Caamp 2.0 gets announced.

Update – February 26th: Hozier has confirmed six additional shows in Noblesville, IN; Grand Rapids, MI; Tucson, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; San Antonio, TX; and Oklahoma City, OK. According to a press release these are the final US shows of the tour.
Looks like Hozier is out! If I’m reading that correctly.
Update – February 26th: Hozier has confirmed six additional shows in Noblesville, IN; Grand Rapids, MI; Tucson, AZ; Albuquerque, NM; San Antonio, TX; and Oklahoma City, OK. According to a press release these are the final US shows of the tour.

I read that to mean his last shows of 2024, because 3 of those shows are at the end of his current tour dates. I don’t think this would really be applicable to Newport. I’d be pretty shocked if he’s not there in some capacity, even if it’s just as a special guest during the fest or participating in an aftershow.
