Just coming in to voice my support for Guster. I'm biased because I have a lot of nostalgic love for them but also I've been going back to their stuff the last couple days and I think a lot of it holds up better than I was expecting. Basic/vanilla? Sure. But they've got some truly killer melodies imo, and they're a fun band who play fun shows and are long overdue to play this festival. That being said there's probably like a 75% chance I skip their set for something better

My wife went to college in the Boston area in the nineties and is thrilled about Guster for the nostalgia reason. We saw them open for Nathaniel Ratliff a couple of years ago and they put on a good show which surprised me so I support the choice.

There are dozens of us!!
They were my favorite band in High School. Haven’t kept up with their newer records but we went to see them for free in hartford last year and they still put on a fun show and have some great power pop tunes.
Sierra Ferrell’s next show after NFF is opening for Mitski in MD. It’s not until 9/1, but maybe the two have some connections. It doesn’t seem like an obvious headliner/opener pairing.
