I didn't mean as a pizza sauce. It's pretty much like garlic butter, ranch, marinara and generally used for the crust though some people drizzle it on the pizza after.
It's going to be pickled because that's what it is. But it's pretty easy to make. I don't make it because I hate cauliflower. Otherwise, I like many of the other vegetables. I prefer the mufuletta mix kind with olives (aka olive salad).
ohh yeah ive had a mufluetta sando before I guess it its pretty similar in taste. Im not the biggest fan of cauliflower either, the one I buy has extra peppers and only does celery and carrots

Ok here is my proposal:
So I would argue those are all drizzles/toppings rather then sauces but that being said, ive seen all of those be used as sauce before so I think the rule should be:
As long as its not your pizza base, it counts as a topping. For example, you can choose pesto sauce as a drizzle/topping but it can't be the base of the whole pizza.
The only exception this rule would be marina sauce as a drizzle/topping.
