The scale of the death toll vis a vis Israel's population would be the equivalent of almost 50,000 people dying in an attack on the US, and all you people who can "see both sides" while Hamas beheads babies are no different than the edgy people claiming the US deserved 9/11 because of American imperialist policies.
There are 50 Muslim countries in the world and only one Jewish state, and many of you would be overjoyed to see Israel turn into yet another country where women and LGBT people are openly persecuted. The last time Jews were a stateless people, six million of us were rounded up into death camps, and our global population has still not recovered to its pre-Holocaust levels. By the way, most Palestinians are Jordanian refugees so spare me your regurgitated tripe about how it's been their homeland for millennia when for the vast majority of them, that is not even remotely the case.
I’ve already called out the numerous diversions, ad-hominem attacks, red herrings, and what-aboutisms that keep getting parroted in Pro-Israel posts. This line of reasoning is just another attempt.
And I don’t know about you, but if my talking points aligned with others that are advocating for more violence and war crimes, I would probably do some self-reflection on my viewpoint.

Maybe you should have read the 7 days of posts on this topic before jumping in then. CaptNMac used the exact argument ie “.01% of Israel’s population vs the USA” previously but went further with the 9/11 comments. IMO, it was clear his insinuation was effectively justifying Israel’s response.
I then saw the same misleading “.01% statistic” (or as I called it a talking point because multiple people randomly hit on the same # which is odd.) so I called out the use of a misleading statistic again.
And If you’d learned anything about my shitty NFL takes, you’d actually realize I spend most my time calling out sketchy use of statistics. You know, me constantly jibbing Dad Dog on him always fawning over Kirk Cousins stats.

One person (not me) here made this claim in the politics thread, after the uncorroborated report came out across multiple news outlets. One. Why are you trying to make it sound like that was some sort of hill many people were trying to die on. And again, we know that babies were murdered in cold blood. Does it really matter if they were beheaded?
The atrocities we have seen unfold over the last week are disgusting, full stop.
Israel gave free water, food, electricity, and money to Gaza/Hamas for decades. You seriously expect them to continue to give aid to a government after it literally beheaded babies, killed and raped women in front of their families, and paraded dead bodies around? Get real brother, it’s war. Gaza ain’t getting shit from Israel until Hamas is gone.
The only people I want to see annihilated are the Hamas terrorists who spent the last several years planning to slaughter hundreds of children in cold blood, going so far as to behead infants. They’re no different than ISIS.

I haven't specifically seen babies being beheaded (nor would I want to), but if you want to see videos of Hamas beheading civilians there are no shortage of them.
