Serious question. What is the fascination with Dua? I guess I’m missing something because I think her music is pretty straightforward and boring, I’m sure she’ll put in a great show for y’all, but other than “Levitating”, her music has done nothing for me, but the board absolutely loves her.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

Love the headliners, undercard leaves a lot to be desired, but some gems with Norah Jones, Say She She, Geese, Mannequin Pussy, Glass Beams, BALTHVS, Marias, Jungle. Probably just enough to have a good weekend.

Future Nostalgia is a damn near perfect pop album full of absolute bangers that I imagine would all be immensely fun live. Its probably my favorite pop album since Melodrama in 2017

This is the best set of headliners of the year, but the undercard is severely lacking. It's hard for me to imagine a full good day of music in here. But I'd have a lot of fun at the end of every day
Still thinking I might go Sturgill day, and I'd love to go Dua day too. Which I guess maybe I just buy a 3 day at that point

I’d say it’s well deserved. They got the home state bump. Crowd is going to go nuts when Leon Bridges joins them for Texas Sun.
Oh totally agree. I do appreciate ACL giving local(ish) acts prime spots. ACL of yesteryear was great at keeping the Austin/Texan roots and its great to see that return after little-to-no local identity in the 2010s.
This feels more Lolla-y than usual. Its solid but if I were an ACL diehard I'd be a bit concerned on whether the lack of legacy acts is just a one-year thing or a new trend. Obviously Grand Funk rules.
I’m guessing having full headliners for both weekends ate into their undercard budget. Guess ya can’t have it both ways. Please give me a Mannequin Pussy after show at Mohawk to make up for the rained out one.
