trantsgiving what's your best advice for managing law school and festivals at the same time, if it's even possible?
oh you’re going to law school? Sick, what one?
Tbh I’ve only done Shaky during the school year and that came at the very end so I’ve never done it in the middle but it’s certainly possible. I’ve never had Friday classes which also helps. But it’s easier than it sounds. Just do some readings in advance and it’s 100% doable.

Some would have you believe that law school takes over your entire life but it’s more comparable to a full time job that you might have to do OT for around finals.

gotcha. not in yet, still in the LSAT taking/application process but hoping to stay here in lubbock. if not, probably south texas college of law in houston or maybe a&m’s campus in fort worth.

don’t rush yourself into a school you’re not happy with just to go. I briefly considered a school I didn’t want after my first year of applying and I would’ve been totally miserable rn if I did. It’s always better to wait a year if your scores aren’t where you need them to be.

Dua Lipa * AC/DC * Post Malone Megan Thee Stallion * Tyler Childers * Fred Again
Tyler might be a stretch because he's playing an arena show in Austin in April, but that show is happening before the lineup typically comes out and it was an instant sell out. I heard AC/DC was touring next year, apparently stadiums and stadium tours tend to skip the Austin area so I thought it's a possibility, though plenty of other bands could be that spot. The Eagles were a good guess for it. I think they do Garth Brooks one of these days and he could be that spot.
My dream headliner is still Bruce Springsteen but I don't know if he does a festival again
Fred Again feels like he's liable for a fest to give him the headliner bump and considering he hasn't done ACL I could see it
Green Day is out w/ Sept 10th date at COTA, but Smashing Pumpkins is suspiciously absent from the tour that day. Have to consider them expected for ACL, right?

I think this may just be a venue thing, Pumpkins are missing from all the non-stadium dates and Austin doesn't have a stadium. Wouldn't be surprised if maybe they (SP) announce some one offs in Austin and/or Houston during that little break in the tour. or maybe just take it off
That being said it definitely puts them in the running for ACL, I just wouldn't go as far as to say expected
Ed Sheeran, Billy Strings, Fred Again, and Vampire Weekend.
You're welcome
This a guess or do you know something?
If I could see Billy, Fred, and VW as my three headliners then I'm back this year
Fred Again is out, Bonaroo booked him as a North America exclusive, now I just hope we don't get Diplo for a 3rd year in a row to fill in as a headliner cause then I'm out.
