Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I just can't see him being like "I got a great idea - I should do a show at Bonnaroo. That will be fun"
That and he's supposed to be really hit or miss. If he's feeling it, will be a good show. If someone or something has harshed his buzz, will not be a good show.
An impossible to guess individual who came to the roo team saying "I wanna do this" and they're big enough to headline. Not guaranteed to be on the What.
It seems like they'd have to have Nashville or Bonnaroo ties to even want to make this happen.
- Les Claypool doing something wacky with friends (not one of the named projects and that's why its unguessable) - Griz doing a comeback show. Hard to guess bc he's on hiatus, easy to guess bc griz & roo - Billy Ray Cyrus??? - Carrie Underwood - Willie Nelson impossible to guess bc so old - The Rascall Flatts guy lol - Tommy Prine doing a tribute set for his pa, not big enough to headline - Chance making his big return? - John Mayer - Ben Folds - St Vincent
idk
I promise it’s guessable in the sense it’s not the debut of something or some supergroup

Dylan has been horrific live for a really long time. I couldn't think of a worse show to put on Thursday. He makes Vince Neil sound like prime Pavarotti.
have you seen him? i saw him in 21 and he was surprisingly spry and uppity than i was expecting. it was like his 5th tour date since the pandemic so that could’ve played a factor but the show wasn’t bad by any means. i have seen him once before that and it was ok and his vocals are shot. i think he just really likes the rough and rowdy ways material. he also did a surprise set at farm aid last year and played guitar and did maggie’s farm and that was pretty good from what i heard
Remember last time Bonnaroo was gonna have a headliner that would "shock" people and it was Foo Fighters?
I see everyone bring this up as a dunk but being the first Foo Fighters show announced (I think?) after their hiatus from Taylor’s death is generally pretty surprising, especially given how soon the turnaround time was

We have no room for sensible takes in here, we’re shitting on Foo’s forever and always

Ngl, it kinda did shock me. I thought they'd be gone for years longer than they were, and all of a sudden, maybe like an hour before the Bonnaroo lineup dropped they just started appearing on other shit too.

Somebody on our Discord had a wild thought - what if it's Post Malone running it back to do a full country set?
While listening to the podcast, this was my thought. You wouldn't think of a headliner two years in a row, but it makes sense if it's a completely different set.
Other guesses:
A composer like Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, or Trent Reznor with Atticus Ross.
Thomas Bangalter
Pipe dream that makes absolutely no sense and sadly I don't think he'd draw much of a crowd: Tom Waits.
