Imo if they can sell a ton of day one Thurs tickets for Combs and then some of that crowd stays for the weekend thats a huge win for Roo. That's how you build new fans.

ITT people who always go to bonnaroo and spend more time talking and thinking about bonnaroo than anyone else on the planet arguing if bonnaroo is good

not even joking just an hour ago i was eating my sandwich and the thought popped in my head "i wonder when that person always asking about Above & Beyond is going to pop up". respect your dedication.
Luke Combs does nothing for me personally but is an objectively great booking
Not to be a turd but I don’t see the crossover appeal at all. Makes no sense to me to have him booked unless they are going to lean heavily into radio country music which Roo has never done. Roo is so cooked yall.
2024 was def the last Roo. Good run yall. See you at Gizz Fest and Renewal in beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado. Jk I’m not going to either of those but would be tight.

As a queer person the crowd that pop/bro country music attracts is the exact opposite of what I want at a festival. Working at a Live Nation shed for a few years, it was dreadful when we had a show like this roll in. Literally the whitesttttttt crowd ever and teens just puking all over the GA lawn area due to their tailgate drinking prior.
If it wasn’t for the day passes I’d have no issue with this, because I highly doubt most would camp for the weekend to check out one artist. Now it’s too easy to come for a day, have zero connection to the fest and just be an insufferable prick.

This would sell out so damn quick, but honestly that lineup would probably bury the festival that it used to be. It’d become what V Fest was in the UK.
