Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Also going to add this: Last year I didn't follow Bonnaroo closely, but I remember that a little after this time, we knew we had RHCP and Post. I think we knew about Pretty Lights. We had no idea about Fred up until the finality of the lineup.
If they're keeping a tight lid, there's a possibility at least one HLer comes out of nowhere.
edit: I'm gonna defer to remeard on this one because I looked back at the 2024 thread, I see that Fred Again.. was known, but no idea on HLer status.
So, going through old messages there were a few things up in the air. Pretty Lights was semi confirmed on the 7th, Fred again was potential on the 19th (as was DMB but I guess that never worked out). 22nd I had a secondary confirmation on Post and RHCP.
I think Fred didn't completely sign until mid December, he wrote a post on Instagram about a cool venue he planned to do probably referring to Roo around that time.
We've got another source that told us Gambino had been in the wings for a while, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're still in negotiations/searching with a new headliner. The obvious go to is Tyler, but I haven't heard one way or another on that yet. There's other fests in the same boat.
This is super helpful. Anything I'm missing from my list up above? That you can speak on at least.
edit: IF All of our top 8 has been confirmed/semi-confirmed and are safe bets, this is probably in the ballpark of what we're probably looking at
Luke Combs - Dom Dolla Tyler, The Creator - Queens of the Stone Age Olivia Rodrigo/someone else - Avril Lavigne/Vampire Weekend/Glass Animals(?)/Benson Boone Hozier - John Summit
AND King Gizzard
I can't speak for y'all... but this is not a bad top 8.
I'm not good with electronica/EDM so their booking is always weird to me.
If rtj is there...maybe? With Thursday being a major day it's hard to think in top 8s because that's essentially a headliner each day.
I feel like I remember Brad or Cory saying something about bands routing to do multiple festivals on the same weekend the day that one jam festival came out. My gut says Goose, and if they're top line of that entire festival i'd imagine they'd be up there.
This is probably my self-delusion and exhaustion talking, but if it's true that Gambino may have only recently informed Roo that he's having to drop, the bookers have the opportunity to become legend and pull a hail mary and book Tame.

I’ll always remember you announcing your scoop on Fred being Sunday’s headliner because you did it in reply to one of my comments and it felt very cool

that would be insane lmao. I doubt it, but that would be a true hail mary.
Months ago, the owl said there probably won't be a rap headliner
Well there will be a few rappers and hopefully a legacy one at this or that 1am Saturday/Sunday am. I’m hoping it’s someone I want to see at least enough to split a set. I’ve seen Tyler 4 or 5 times and he’s great. But I want some ratchet. Who is it?

Fn love Pat and only saw him do a 3 song show in front of like 20 people. But I listen to him pretty often. He's the mfer nobody would cross.
Lil Wayne? Even though he's probably quacking awful live I would be there for the party. I will also throw Freddie Gibbs into the running
Freddie would be cool. Been a long time since I’ve seen him. Wayne isn’t bad live though. I’ve seen him over the years and it’s always kind of wild. Maybe Juvenile? Love the late night rap shows be it Gucci, GZA, Denzel or whomever. Always a go to late night set for me.
Give me Luda! Great set when I saw him at Loufest years ago.

There's only one answer here.
Also, Juvenile could happen. He was on the Huntsville lineup that C3 put together. LaRussell might hit, too.

On the same train of thought. Im thinking :
Luke Combs / Dom Dolla Tyler, the Creator / John Summit My Chemical Romance / Kacey M or Lana Hozier / Vampire Weekend
1. Kacey or Lana fits the "female artist in Top 8". I think if a female artist made the Top 4, Brad might have alluded to it.
2. Possible 3rd on their day :
Thur : Goose Fri : Justice Sat : LCD Soundsystem Sun : Glass Animals
3. Possible 4th on their day :
Thurs : MJ Lenderman or Tape B Fri : Benson Boone Sat ; QOTSA Sun : Kid Cudi
Tho I obviously want a stacked lineup. The thought of numerous Gizz sets or even one long marathon set has me so afraid I’ll miss Tipper, Justice, LCD Soundsystem, and/or Vampire Weekend due to conflicts if they are there. I can’t and won’t miss any of Gizz no matter how many sets they have or how long they play for. The second I split a set I know they’ll play The River or Dragon or something I’ve been chasing.

Saw Luda this year at Fort Campbell for the Independence Day concert, excellent show. I would absolutely love to see him in a less restrictive environment.
