Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
During the Tom petty superjam Chris Long came out and played Tambourine for a song. I dunno for an eagle to jump from a tent to headliner seems pretty big
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Gonna need Roo to actually deliver next year though for me to be in. Cant do these 22/24 quality lineups anymore. Gonna need some Sturgill, Billy, Jack White, Tyler the Creator, Justice, Deftones, Primus, Kacey, Jamie xx, Ween, VW. Nothing insane but 5 of those would be a great start.
Only 2 acts that would be an instant buy would be McCartney and Radiohead I think.
Justice Tyler VW Jamie JW
Radiohead would be an instant buy for me as well, but I think we're still 2-3 years away
has there been any movement from the Radiohead camp? i haven't been keeping a close eye but feels like it's been all about side projects.
Whispers of availability are out there. But who knows. They could have been doing stuff this entire time and nobody is the wiser despite their statements that they are planning on getting together in the fall. And thats got a wrench thrown in it cause Thom has a solo tour. I mean they do have plenty of material to make an album without writing new songs anyway. The Bends does turn 30 and it wouldnt be a surprise if they did something for it.

Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

I think with Fred Again and PL this year that we won't be getting a good EDM headliner next year. Will probably be Marshmello or The Chainsmokers or something.

How about no EDM headliner but a great EDM lineup?
Are Kings of Leon relevant again? Like, I know they just dropped a new album, but do people actually care to the point of them headlining Roo?
i just did a quick poke around their upcoming tour, looks like a mix of arenas and medium size venues. the few arenas i clicked for weekend dates in august didn't look like they are selling that well, maybe a majority of tickets still available in all sections. the more medium sized venues on the other hand look like they are selling appropriately.
typically when a new KoL album comes out i listen to it one time and then never again. surprised to find i've returned to the new record a few times now. it feels cohesive, organic, and intentional. it's a little slow at times but it's a good vibe. if this is the band that shows up at Roo i'd be open to them playing, but based on their arena ticket sales i don't think they are the draw they once were.
Is there a reason some people seem pretty certain about Tame Impala or just the usual nonsense?
one of the guys who book bonnaroo said on roo bus pod last january that tame impala playing currents in full at bonnaroo 2025 "would make a lot of sense".
also they were booked for the cancelled 2021 roo.
doesn't mean they are a shoe-in but it's a reasonable guess.
