Y’all got any hopefuls from EDC? Personally praying for more DnB next year. A WORSHIP B4B Sahara closer would be wild, maybe separate sets from Dimension and Sub Focus. That John Summit collab is def gonna be top played of the EDM circuit this year judging by the reaction and all the edit IDs of it already.
I know I'm barking up the wrong tree but I wish Coachella would book a hardstyle DJ or two. It's just not a popular genre stateside but I'd love to have a moment to stamp like an idiot on the fields.
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide

I just hope they fix the mistakes on this year's poster before they ship them out but considering the Coachella website still has the same one up, I'm not too confident on that.

Shit, I got mine in the mail and never opened it. Guess I shouldve looked.
I know a lot of people thought his set was mid, but W2 was really good and the energy was great. Was surprised at the lack of frat energy there (as opposed to EA). I would love for him to return at some point in the future (just obviously not next year or the year after).
He is def gonna be the next Diplo/Dillon Francis/DJ Snake in terms of how much he pops up on the lineup every 2-3 years

Empire of the Sun begins their tour in Australia in late October. I’m curious to see if the NA run begins in the spring
Well they wont play Just Like Heaven next year so it would have to be Coachella.
Returning to the Desert needs to be...Empire of the Sun..all 3 times I have seen that Coachella (11, 14, & 17) have been all been amazing. Highlights of each year!!!

Agree - they are 3rd/4th on their day. Not big enough for RTTD, but a great live electronic booking for Outdoor. Not a fan of the new songs though….
I can see them + Foster the People + Nelly Furtado bringing in the millennials next year

But the vibbbbbes. People love to overbill acts cause they think making a new album and having not played the fest in a long time somehow bumps your billing.
I could see them being end of second line but they're nowhere near the Justice level billing
I am not a huge Empire of the Sun fan compared to Gesaffelstein and Justice and I would argue they are more a bit more popular. I know less “hardcore music fans” that are much more familiar with EotS
Also curious to hear people’s thoughts on Skrillex coming back alone next year. Maybe a bigger push for dubstep with Nero + Skream & Benga? I’ve been enjoying his latest 2 releases - TAKA has been playing in my head. (Though both are nowhere close to dubstep lol)
