I am not a fan of Benson Boone or Artemas, but I was pleasantly surprised by how great they both actually sound live. Let’s keep it real that Coachella has been booking these Tik Tok artists since Covid.

The argument of whether or not Fred again.. could headline Coachella can probably be put to bed if this BMO Stadium show announced only a week in advance sells out.
I’m still flabbergasted how Fred got that popular. Just feels like he got hot on all the right momentum with collaborations and live shows that built this mystique around him.

its not even BMO, its LA Memorial Coliseum, Drake and Kanye performed there before for that free larry hoover concert and Fred will actually sell even more tix as the floor was the stage for the drake/kanye show but this one has a ga floor as well with two small stages in the field

Its just the vibes. The bro crowd fell in love with the boiler room set and then the attachment to Skrillex just put him on another level of edm people who like what theyve released. The live show still needs to get streamlined a little bit. Curious where theyll be putting screens for the show on friday. Might look like Metallicas production.

I think he’s also done a good job of keeping the hype up by limiting his performances a bit to big name appearances. If he was doing 40 dates this summer I’m not sure it’d feel the same

the only thing that sucks about that method is that it makes it impossible to travel to see an artist with such short notice. like i was only able to go to one of his forest hills shows bc those were well in advance and i could book accomodations and get cheap train tix

Maybe it’s just the gay in me, but I don’t think there’s a single potential sub that would interest me more than Chappell right now. After her Gov Ball performance, I’d love to see what she can do with a bigger budget and Coachella’s main stage production.

Whens the next album coming ( its apparently done ) and is she going to burn out before that is the question. 2026 she subs if she is active and would get those lower headline slots on ACL and Lolla. But is she gonna do the same thing Noah Kahan did with headlining every single mid level fest? Then expect her topping Shaky Knees and Kilby Block Party.

Lower than you think cause she prob got booked before the blow up. But they can schedule her on a big stage at least.
Corona Capital also have really different headliner and sub placements compared to US festivals. Like Blur headlining or Phoenix subbing. I’m more curious how massive Chappell crowd will be at a non-US festival. Chappell -> Lana would probably be near impossible to get anywhere close.
