I dont think EotS gets billed that high in 2025. They’ll play the Mojave at like 9pm and end right as Polo and Pan or something starts their Outdoor closing set.

I think Polo & Pan have peaked in popularity. I don’t see them playing later than Sunset on Outdoor

Could be right. But they could also drop a banger of an album or a single or two with some big features within the next ten months. Last year at Portola they were billed as subs and only under Prydz’ Holo and Skrillex so GV does see them as a top electronic act for sure.

I hear you. We’ve been so spoiled with 2nd line electronic names since 2019 that it seems the only acts not booked yet really are Skrillex (not counting TBA), Massive Attack, Kraftwerk, Above & Beyond, Deadmau5 and the edm cheese Tiesto, Kaskade, etc. Nero’s return doesn’t seem to be as big as I thought it would be.
It was interesting being at Sonar (all electronic festival) where the main stage acts were Charlotte de Witte (one of the most insane packed crowds I’ve ever been in), Adriatique, Marlon Hoffstadt, VTSS, Richie Hawtin, and Partiboi69
Since Europe is always ahead of the electronic curve - I can see the techno, Y2K rave vibes being big at Coachella next year. We are already seeing it with the Portola bookings - Pretty Girl, DJ Heartstring, horsegiirl, etc
Friday: Dua Lipa The XX | Rauw Alejandro | Charli xcx | Empire of the Sun | Aphex Twin | d4vd | Xavi | Clairo | REZZMAU5
Saturday: Fred Again.. Gunna | Zedd | Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross | Nelly Furtado | FKA Twigs | Foster the People | The Marias | Aespa | Turnstile
Sunday: Coldplay Rüfüs du Sol | Glass Animals | Above & Beyond | Don Toliver | Summer Walker | Normani | Tokischa | Djo | Four Tet
AND Rihanna (closing Saturday after Fred)
Probably not enough electronic big names on 2nd line but still don’t know who else is big enough at this point to get booked there. Zedd makes me 🤢 as does Kygo. At this rate, Keinemusik is pretty much a 2nd line name but they are more suitable for a Quasar extended set, anything below 2 hours is just a pass.
Yeah this line up would be enough for me! Sunday Undercard would be THE DREAM
Sabrina has had a long career that took awhile to get her to this point, so her team is most likely trying to capture this moment NOW Vs Chappell is very new and can be patient.
The production that went into her Main set this year tells me that she was already auditioning to be a future headliner sooner than later. And she absolutely knocked it out of the park
I feel 2026 as well. Even if it's bottom poster placement. I anticipate her new album being huge this year, and she can have another one out by Coachella 26
14 seconds of evidence that the Sabrina headliner conversation has already happened
I googled Sabrina Carpenter and all I got were pictures of milk and toast
Doubt it. Can’t see her headlining and don’t see her subbing with a 50 min set
Plus anyone who wanted to see her has on these 2 back to back tours
Goldenvoice in LA lost a ton of money with Janet in 2018 with this cancelled lineup. I think GV with Panorama in NYC that year also lost money with JJ headlniing as scheduled.
I was looking at some EDM playlist on Spotify to figure out what Sahara type names are the biggest right now and dude. I am all for cheesy EDM. I went to Everything Always and had a blast. But EVERY top song on that playlist, and I mean every single one, is a note for note rework of a 90s or 2000s hit. Smells Like Teen Spirit, Thank You, Sunglasses at Night, All The Things She Said, Better Off Alone, Around the World (La LA La), Country Roads, Sweet Disposition, WAiting for Tonight, this is the laziest trend ever.
rocky is gonna be on trial starting october for allegedly shooting his former best friend and threatening to kill him so I don’t think he’ll be doing too many appearances

I feel like the other Flog headliner will be J Cole this year. Just makes sense with the Fall Off coming out, I know he's been a little embarrassing since the apology thing but still lol I'm curious to see if The Internet is on the line up, would confirm new album + Coachella for me My favorite Flog set is usually who performs after Tyler on Saturday's like Solange 2019, it's usually R&B or something female fronted, so I wonder who that could be this year. Btw Solange still needs to make up for Coachella 2019 =(
I'm sorry, but I don't think Travis really has that kind of draw anymore. Wouldn't want him at Flog, but I guess it could make sense. Would absolutely not want him at Coachella at this point
