UMass Amherst is getting into the Maction.

They were in the A10, and moved up to FBS. MAC wanted them to join all sports but they got hesitant to leave the A10.

Tbh, outside of hockey - UMass hasn't been relevant in a while.

Seems like ACC and Big XII schools in particular will be vulnerable to this. Will have to spend something equivalent to SEC/B10 schools with nowhere near the revenue. I think the terms of the current/recent antitrust settlement requires 22 million paid to players annually (school/AD-wide).
