I'm guessing a move to the Yuma also means they'll be conflicting with Justice.
The Yuma was running during headliners on Friday and Saturday last year at least (I'm not sure how long Beyer's set was Sunday), so with Gorgon closing it, I'm guessing they'll be after Justice, during Lana.
I think the last 2 years Yuma was going until the end each night. 2022 had outdoor stage competing against HL so it’s not impossible gorgon city and justice conflict

I would be truly shocked if Justice were playing on the Outdoor at the same time as Lana. That would be awful for her, and with fewer total acts, there's no reason to do it.
This is so lame. Both times Gorgon City has done Coachella live it has been legendary, burn the stage down stuff. A DJ set is so unexciting.
So lame. Especially since they liked everyone’s comments on ig asking if they were playing live. Maybe they got bumped to the Yuma due to Vampire Weekend getting added to Friday last minute like Arcade fire two years ago. Probably not happening, but it’s what I’ve been telling myself today
I also really wish it was a live set, but they did clarify it was a DJ set in their IG stories when the Coachella lineup first dropped. They did like everyone's comments on IG on the post about it (I think they literally just liked almost every comment) but later posted an IG story saying they'd be playing a special DJ set debuting lots of new music and playing exclusively their own tracks.

I might be most upset that this means Anti Up and Gorgon City will conflict. They have lots of overlap in their fanbases, which on the one hand makes sense given crowd control for Gorgon, but it bums me out nonetheless.

So Lana vs Gorgon vs Anti-Up? At least I'll have two options with a pulse Friday night.
Saw Gorgon a couple days ago in Phoenix, even with it being a DJ set they still played 90% of their own music during a 1 hour set. No it’s nowhere near as good as the live set but it’s still not terrible.

That's good to hear and having them against Lana (who I have no interest in until she blows it out of the park W1) is going to be fun anyway.

I am with you on Lana. Not really looking forward to that so I need to find someone else to watch at that time.
Okay I'll say it: it's time for a Coachella cum leak, even if its just a dribble. GV can only give us blue balls so many times before someone blows a load so messy that it scrambles the lineup placements.
Hopefully Dolab gets a killer Friday closer or other stages have something cool. Gorgon City and Anti Up are a little too frat boy for my dance music tastes

I think Tyler will still close. Blur > No Doubt > Tyler flows better, and also he's gonna have an insane amount of production so having him last would make things easier.
I realllllly don't want No Doubt to play before 11 because there is so much I want to see Saturday 7-11, but Sublime --> Blur --> No Doubt --> Tyler makes way more sense.

It makes the most sense for Sublime/Blur/No Doubt/Tyler most certainly, but it'd also risk screwing over The Adicts and the Aquabats, for what it's worth. though I bet they could get squeezed into gaps before/after No Doubt and could play during Blur easily.
If Ice Spice is closing the Sahara that day then it would make more sense for her to conflict with No Doubt than Tyler.
Sahara was idle during all 3 main closers last year. Wouldn't be shocked if that was the case again this year
Not on Saturday. $uicideboy$ played against Calvin Harris. Ice Spice could easily be between the two though this year.
And I know I've said this multiple times already but I still think it makes more sense that between Tyler and No Doubt, the bigger and more expensive name plays last on the main.

I don’t disagree, I’d just be surprised if Tyler agreed to it after what happened with his set last time with non-fans camping for Beyonce.

I guess they changed that for week 2 so 5/6 total days it was idle. I guess we'll have to wait for confirmations, but I don't think the quickly thrown together show is gonna close while the headliner that was booked first, will be debuting a new era, and always has a very high budget stage design is gonna get kicked to sub scheduling.
