I think we must have assumed we wouldn’t be able to find it, but it appears to be on Peacock, so now we’ll have to watch it. I genuinely loved every one of them at least a little bit except for Memoirs of an Invisible Man, which was just garbage, and I don’t think he’d argue with that.

Next two would have been The Hudsucker Proxy and Intolerable Cruelty.

I know people don’t like the Ladykillers, but that movie amuses the hell out of me.

So many great movies. Everyone should make it a point to see every Coen Brothers film at some point.
Surprised to see No Country so far down on so many lists.
For me it's not a knock at all on No Country at all, I love it. It's more about really liking the ones I listed above it. Like, I love Raising Arizona, O Brother, Miller's Crossing, ect, but all are on the latter portion of my top 10 cause they have so many other great films.
Surprised to see No Country so far down on so many lists.
My cinematic hot take is despising that film. It would be last only list if I were ranking them all and leaving it off the list entirely and instead throwing it in the garbage weren’t allowed.

"Barton Fink" gets the #3 spot because I think about John Goodman in that fire hallway at least once a week.

Perfect, almost all tied: The Departed Goodfellas George Harrison: Living in the Material World The King of Comedy
Would Always Recommend: Raging Bull Cape Fear The Last Temptation of Christ Casino The Last Waltz Taxi Driver
Harmless but Wouldn't Push Anyone to Watch: The Aviator Pretend it's a City (TV series) The Wolf of Wall Street Killers of the Flower Moon Gangs of New York Shutter Island
NOPE: Hugo The Irishman
Looking at the filmography I'm ashamed I've never seen "Age of Innocence" or "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore". I should repair that soon and edit this list.

i don't know if i can rank, but i have a few takes.
at points in my life, The Departed was my favorite scorsese flick. it's just so damn satisfying, so funny, so many great performances. all time alec baldwin character. mark wahlberg thinking he is the main character of the movie. it just works. but yeah i mean Goodfellas is the best, obviously. and it's the best because the second half is such incredible film making. it's a bummer, maybe even uncomfortable to watch, but he does paranoia so well.
i've watched The Irishmen twice and love it. shocked at how engaging it is for such a long ass movie.
in my memory, Gangs of New York is much better than people say it is. but i haven't seen it in years.
i just recently watched (rewatched maybe) Casino, and IMO it is overrated. which is weird because i love gangster movies and love vegas. i don't know it just felt like bits and pieces of other gangster movies cobbled together. with pesci playing a less complex and less interesting version of tommy.

The Departed Goodfellas Wolf of Wall Street Cape Fear The Aviator Gangs of New York Casino Shutter Island The Irishman
I've only seen those 9, thought I had more tbh, I really need to go watch the classics at some point. Departed/Goodfellas is a 1a/1b situation for me, they're both perfect movies and in my all time top ten

I've seen a bunch of his earlier films but it's been so long that I don't remember enough to rank them. Probably a good excuse to check them out again.
