I'm gonna say it; is Massive Attack too big for DD?
What's the general expectation for size/scope this year compared to previous? A year off is usually a drop in budget/quality upon return, if not an outright death knell. Are QOTSA, Massive Attack, etc realistic possibilities?

Probably but who knows. Its really wild to me that he seems really secure about this lineup and them turning a profit that they don't see release delays as a strong issue for the festival. I don't know how this all works but for a festival that had to cancel last year, you'd think they would want to release any information (accommodations, stages, pricing, bands) to the masses.

Echoing sentiment from other corners of the internet, it is really starting to feel like this is going to be a stripped down/one day at the lake and a bunch of LA shows.

We get it. Your never-ending pessimism here and on Reddit is 100% noted. Unlike last year, Phil & Co. have stated repeatedly that this is happening on social media posts and replies to people.
Would I have like the lineup and fest details to be out by now? Most certainly! But as a long time fan of this fest, each edition's rollout is different from one another. They hardly ever follow a pattern, and with them being DIY still, never seem to be timely with their info.
For me, I'll choose to believe Phil, Zach, and the bands that are saying they're playing the fest. Like I said in previous years, if July comes and nothing is announced, then I'd start being concerned.

A lot of great bands/artists playing Corona Capital in mid-November, including quite a few of Daze's friends (Warpaint, BBNG, Tops, Blonde Redhead, Beach Fossils, Mannequin Pussy, Crumb).
And some of my wishlist for Daze is on there - bar italia, Boy Harsher, St. Vincent, QOTSA, Kim Gordon. Here's hoping!
