also, competition-level gymnastics takes more skill, precision, agility, and body strength than half the sports on this list, if not more. discussions of voting it out when golf, lacrosse and rugby are still here is preposterous.
thats not the q tho. dancing requires all of those things more than 90% of the stuff on this list too
I've never known a rugby fan who didn't own multiple Flogging Molly shirts
Hi, nice to meet you, I don't own any Flogging Molly shirts. I couldn't tell you the name of a Flogging Molly song if you had me at gunpoint right now. "Hey, Ho, I'm Drunk and Irish?" I dunno.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

since it is going to go this round, I hope that the 14 ppl who are wrong in here one day have the feeling of being 150 yards out in the fairway taking out a nine iron and sticking one to 10 feet. very few better feelings in life

I love golf. It does suck that it’s so expensive, but it’s a great individual game and mentally challenging sport. It also has spawned mini golf, disc golf, top golf, & foot golf which are just as fun but generally more affordable. The major tournaments have produced some iconic moments.
Also, people talk about the land the courses use up as if it wouldn’t just be bulldozed and turned into apartment complexes if not for the courses. I think courses serves as nice pseudo-nature preserves.
shouldve known there'd be a slew of golf defenders here, given how far alcohol went in Drug Survivor; seems like a lot of the argument to keep golf in is "but have you ever cracked a cold one on the green with my boy Duncan at 9am?"
no i havent, and no it wont make me think golf is any less boring.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Okay I'll say it: it's time for a Coachella cum leak, even if its just a dribble. GV can only give us blue balls so many times before someone blows a load so messy that it scrambles the lineup placements.
I actually do like Disc Golf and putt-putt. Disc golf enjoyment comes more from love of frisbee than golf though. And it wasn't an option. Nor was Ultimate. No throw-away option like "Water" either this time. smh
Disc golf was a top-notch 2020 activity, I’d jog to the course a couple miles from my apartment and enjoy a joint while playing through the 9 hole course 2 or 3 times. Way lower financial barrier too and casual players are so much less judgmental than golfers (in my experience)

yeah a virtually perfect college Saturday at 1 pm activity

Why does everyone hate disk golf so much? It's just a harmless silly thing stoners like to do.
Idk. Maybe it seems like a cool thing for some to bag on?
I used to like disc golf until I started going to my local park to walk/run their mile loop. It has a disc golf course in the middle of it (large irregular 1 mileloop with 9 holes contained within that loop) and I stopped walking there because I kept getting hit/having to dodge errant throws from disc golfers. I did play more disc golf than I’d like to admit in college while smoking weed since our campus had a course that went through the arboretum, so jpbrez is right there
did you know that Tony Hawk himself wanted the first game to be a downhill racer, but the developers at Neversoft had to convince him the trick combo-based game we got was a better idea? Tony eventually got his wish with Downhill Jam, which happened to be the worst selling game in the entire series
the fascinating thing about this is that the SSX series did super well comparatively. what is about snowboarding that lends itself better to racing than skateboarding?

maybe it's because snowboarding is pretty much exclusively a downhill thing, and the primary image of skateboarding is doing tricks on either street obstacles (skate vids) or in contained skate parks (competitions). Also the ssx games were pretty evenly split between racing and freestyle events.
