Seemed like people that were there on Reddit really liked Bicep. Maybe just doesn't hit as well for streaming?
I also saw it in person on Friday while not sober and I wanted to see it again sober to see if I was just in a bad mood. Reddit as a collective just really really loves Bicep.

oh, I really loved this Bicep set on stream, I was just a little let down after hearing all this Chroma AV stuff about how this was going to be a visual spectacle of something that it really wasn't. it should have just been billed as Bicep (DJ set) lol
Also while I have strong opinions about this to be clear I am not going to come to your house and murder you if you liked that Bicep set.
Would you do Yuma instead of BICEP?
Idk, if you like bicep and have never seen them before it’s probably still worth it. In my case I’d probably go see Doja honestly but that’s just because I’m not a big Artbat fan from what I’ve seen.
(And in my case in this alternate universe where I don’t sell my Coachella ticket, I’d like to see one headliner because although his set was really good I’d love to see Orbital again.)

why even bring out guests at the Sahara if they are just gonna sing along with the regular track so you can hardly hear them? Nelly was cool, but uneccessary and now seeing the singer from temper trap it's the same thing.

Who brought out the Temper Trap singer? In my mind it’s DJ snake because that would be the funniest one to do that.

Seeing all the hate for TBS is just hilarious because Adam has always been a bad vocalist. The fact that they don't know that makes it even funnier. This is what you get, talent bookers.
Couldn’t stay up that late last night, and I’m working today- did Boy Harsher not play ‘Pain’? Don’t see it on the setlist, is it incomplete, or did they run out of time?
I’m thinking I’m splitting Boy Harsher and Atarashii Gakko next weekend, because when am I going to see Atarashii Gakko otherwise. But curious if BH did not play ‘Pain’ - maybe they ran out of time?
They did not play it. I didn't get the feeling that they were rushing or running out of time. Maybe they will play it W2. Looking at recent setlists, it looks like they rotate between Modulations, Pain, and I Understand for closers.

Doja is a great performer and there was a lot of pageantry and she gets bonus points for using mostly a live band. That being said, her music does absolutely nothing for me. I’m definitely not the demographic, but I thought a lot of these songs were pretty forgettable.
I wasn't watching most of the webcast all weekend but just from I read it seems like Ice Spice's 30 min set was more interesting than Doja's headline set.
From the streams anyway, Ice Spice was fun, Doja's set visually was absolutely bananas. Each time they'd flip the theme I was blown away, everything looked incredible, but also sophisticated and like a very curated aesthetic, and she does not miss a single note rapping or singing. Choreography was wild, costumes wild, props and sets wild. Honestly it was one of the most phenomenal "performances" I've seen at this fest. I just don't like her music lol but she brought it.

Oh he actually sang? I was leaving when that came on. Nobody was freaking out in the crowd. Also, with high winds its a wind tunnel behind sahara til you get to Quasar.
Why the hell is the Guardian reviewing Coachella sets? Need to have the NYT review Glastonbury as retaliation.
Cause of Blur. Nme and Q have also been reporting.
But Guardian has apparently been doing this for years?? (Though actually looking back you might be on to something because the last headliner to get a 5 star review was Billie Eilish and the fact that she brought out Damon Albarn appears to have influenced that lol)

yeah he did, but I mean you couldn't tell because the track was louder than him haha

Atarahii Gakkoi really has those 70's disco vibes at times. sometimes I half expect to see Nile Rodgers up there during what I assume was Around the World.
