How is throwing a baseball more like juggling than dribbling a soccer ball?
I get pace of play arguments against baseball if it's in comparison to basketball or football, but soccer is often dire to watch.
I mean you're dribbling the ball to keep it with your body and to move your body around your opponent's body. Based on the 3 I'd like to see remain, I'm big on sports that include athletes trying to go around other athletes.

yeah but MLB changed the rules to get rid of or attempt to eliminate all runner catcher collisions at home plate. Which was really the only physical confrontation in baseball, other than charging the pitchers mound for a quick tussle

I wonder if one’s ranking of these final four has a lot to do with what pro sports teams are in your city. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have hesitated to rank soccer 4th. Now, though, between Ted Lasso, my kid’s soccer games, and Cincinnati actually fielding a competitive MLS team, soccer has jumped to 2-3 for me. Sorry, basketball.

I'm ranking them based on ones I have enjoyed playing the most and enjoy watching the most. Sadly there are no pro sports teams where I live. There isnt even a pro sports team in the whole state.
Kids playing soccer can kinda go both ways. It's almost a right of passage to play some kind of youth league as their first sport. But as a parent you see how many of them wind up dropping it in favor of other more exciting sports (namely the other three).

or they stop cause they get called f*gs for playing it.
It seems important to also note that girls/women are basically completely disqualified from playing football. Not only is it only popular in america but over half of americans have no chance to play it.

Top venues I'd like to see that I haven't:
Football - Lambeau Baseball - Wrigley (been to Fenway) Basketball - The Palestra Soccer - Estadio Azteca would be wild if I wasn't gonna get batteries thrown at me
There’s nothing in sports gets a better crowd reaction than a goal in a soccer game. It’s like a buzzer beater or a walk-off every time. Even the threat of a goal makes 0-0 games tense and exciting. There’s nothing more important.
The fandom and passion involved in it blows all these other sports out of the water. None of you guys care about anything the way those people care about their club and national teams.
As a recreation activity, anybody can pick up a ball and start playing without having to learn dozens of rules like in football or learning some weirdly specific skill like dribbling in basketball or hitting in baseball. If you can kick a ball and run, you’ll have a good time.
Especially with how robotic baseball has gotten in recent years where everything is a home run or a strikeout, it’s easily the worst to watch out of all these. The other sports have the star personality edge by a long shot too. I understand US bias leaning towards football and basketball winning in the end here, but soccer deserves top three.
