Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Turnstile and Sleep Token will be headlining the rock fests for sure. But that's not really what this survivor is.
Regardless, I can't see mitski doing anything bigger than pitchfork
i mentioned this in the last thread but mitski is selling out multiple nights at 20kcap venues. Somehow her mainstream/crossover appeal has exploded. she sold out 2 nights at Merriweather and the third night is like 80% sold shes huge
feel like it's pretty obvious that outside of the metal acts, Chappell Roan is the least likely on this list, or at least would need to take a huge leap to pass the rest
Little context for this one, I'm asking who will be the Foo Fighters, RHCP, Kendrick, Billie Eilish, etc in five or ten years. Obviously a few of these will headline soon, but who can keep their momentum going to become our legacy headliners of the future? Who's at Lolla 2034?

on the trajectory: Chappell Roan Rufus Ice Spice Raye Phoebe Mistki Billy Strings The xx
already passed their peak: Megan Thee Stallion Glass Animals Lil Nas x
too niche to hl a big fest: John Summit Turnstile Batiste King Gizz Renee Rapp
I’d say Kacey is further past her peak than Lil Nas, I’d be surprised to see her headline one of the big 4 between now and 2034 (does ACL do top 8=headliner?)
As much as I love Billy Strings I don't see him headlining any of the big 4 except for Bonnaroo, and even then I'm not sure about that in the Live Nation era. Maybe 2015 or prior. I don't think bluegrass is headlining anything in the next 2 to 10 years.
I'm not that invested in this survivor but can't help but look at this list and think "how many of these artists already sell more tickets than Fred Again and Doja Cat?"

Is Renee Rapp niche? What’s the niche? Genuinely curious - I listened to a bunch of her stuff when the GovBall lineup dropped and it sounded like mainstream pop to me.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Meg & Nas have already been 2s on Roo, I’d say there’s a very clear path (release one more acclaimed album). Meg easily could’ve headlined over Fred this year.
Ice Spice is on the Doja Cat path. Was just 3 at Coachella.

Also, it’s way early, but I could see The Last Dinner Party becoming a thing *if* their next record comes out strong/their arc continues upward for a while.
