Just bumping in case anyone is watching. I’m trying to catch Pretty Lights tonight, maybe some other stuff throughout the weekend.
I feel spoiled by the Coachella livestreams, with so many channels and the ability to rewind. I can’t seem to rewind on Hulu beyond when I started streaming. Not sure if they’ll do replays.
There were some news reports that Middle Tennessee State University students are basically doing all of the camerawork as part of their course credit. Surprised there aren’t as many sets broadcast because that sounds like pretty cheap labor! I’m sure there’s other factors though.
Edited to say: They made some time adjustments and added Maggie Rogers, Renee Rapp, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Greensky Bluegrass, so it’s rounding out more now. Updated the earlier post.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
What’s up with the pit thing? Never been to Bonnaroo but there’s like 100 people in the pit for Carly Rae Jepsen and a huge gap before the rest of the crowd. Is that VIP or or do people not want to go into the pit?

It used to be a first come first serve process, anyone could get in until they reached capacity. Which of course kept most sets fairly full. Now it's VIP only so it no longer does.

dude it's crazy how many people don't know how the pit works these days, since Bonnaroo does not publicly acknowledge its existence anymore. Every pit I was in, I'd ask "first bonnaroo?" or whatever and they all said 4+.
Yeah, looks like they switched up the stream due to the lightning delay or something. Here’s how it ends now. Again, not being able to rewind/replay is pretty annoying. I hope they find a sponsor next year that isn’t Hulu:

Sunday - Channel 2 10:30 p.m. - Taking Back Sunday 11:50 p.m. - Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
Well it was a 3 year deal unless they got an extension for it. But its for Roo, Lolla and ACL. So they have to find somebody to take all 3 of them on. Netflix might want to try to throw their hat in the ring because theyre going to do kore live stuff, but who knows if they can handle more than one channel. Youtube having the multiview feature now and Coachella having every stage shown then you can expand on the programming at Roo. Would be cool if they had the late night stuff. Edc streams go way late cause it goes til sunrise so its not as if you wouldnt have a global audience cause of time zones. Disney just trying to see what works I bet. Apple Tv+ would be an interesting option because they would totally invest and you Might get 4k streams. Amazon also probably fine cause they simulcast on Twitch if you dont have Prime.

The pit is not VIP only.
lol I didn't even notice that answer before I replied, it's def still first come first serve, though there is a platinum section at the back of the pit
