yeah, this is my first year and i really lucked out in getting cheap VIP tickets and im like 20. From the looks of things most people in VIP are older 30-40 something year olds. I was wondering if anyone wanted to have a camping group in the VIP section being any age or whatever. I figure to ask because im sure there are some confused VIP'ers out there who dont know whats going on
My wife and I will be attending Bonnaroo for our first time. We decided to go VIP mainly for the showers. We will be coming on our own and would love to meet up with as many people as possible there. It seems like an absolutely amazing community of people... can't wait.
We should probably figure out some sort of logistics of how to meetup. Any ideas from past roo'ers?
I'm in a group of four first-time VIPers, hoping to find a bunch of other cool cats to chillax with. Working on our camp flag, I'll let everyone know what to look for when we finish!

My name is Justin (24) I'll be in the VIP with another couple 28-30, and A friend of mine (23) and his mother (40), but really AGE DON"T MATTER, especially at Roo. Just as long as were all there, you got nuttin to worry about! This is my fifth roo, but 1ST time VIP....boy am I excited. I'd love to meet up with people in VIP and hangout, share musical interest and microbeers.
I'm coming from Michigan, arriving Thursday Sunrise in Manchester for that VIP line.
Most looking forward t oRadiohead, Beck, Petty, Oysterhead, Dr. John, JAckie Green, Buddy Guy, Bright Eyes, Damian Marley, Rusted Root and of course Phil baby!
Probably no flag, but I'll have a ALL Black pick up truck..It will be hot i know, but no choice! ford 150 with michigan plates.

There aint no party like a Detroit Party! See all crazy michiganders at the Roo! I wonder what band is playin the VIP party thursday night , I hear free food and beer thats enough to get me there at least for a few. I love Bells! Just got thirsty for an oberon, How bout them Tigers 15 of 16 damn! I still have hope for Pistons we are a resiliant team.
We'll probably be making a flag tonight, I'll post a picture when it's done. If we are serious about camping around each other we should probably trade cell phone numbers and estimated arrival times as it gets closer.

Man, this thread sure got hi-jacked by Michiganders. I guess I hadn't realized how many seriously HEADY people hail from MI. If you guys set up a VIP group, I am totally in.

Wow - there's a lot of roo love coming from MI. We're a couple from Indiana looking forward to our first VIP experience at the roo. If I can find it I plan on having our standard "you are here" sign displayed for all to see. If you find yourself here - say hey.
Us Michiganders are going to take over the VIP area:)` My wife and I are making our 1st trip to 'roo from Kalamazoo! Can't wait to head down. Look for the green and white EZ-Up, and a couple with big smiles on their faces!
Yo VIP! Mitten-style. We brought a couple sixers of Oberon with us last year. Totally forgot we had them till we got back to camp and pulled the cooler out.
I have another question for VIP vets (my other question above still remains unanswered as well): In the VIP ticket package we received yesterday it says that check-in at the Holiday Inn begins at 10:00am Thursday. Is that a hard and fast rule? Our plan is to arrive Wednesday night, but will we be stuck at Holiday Inn until they pass out the wristbands on Thursday?
Where will you be Wed. night? I will come in early and wait with you if you all want to get a pre-VIP group together somewhere. There are 4 in our party in an RV/camper...
