Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
If you see us, stop by and say hello. Outside of that, I'm sure we'll meet a lot of you at the Thursday night festivities. We should make plans to meet at a certain time somewhere so we know who eachother are and where we're camped at.
Question for past VIP'ers.. how many VIP peeps are there actually? Since we're sold out I was trying to figure out how many people are actually in VIP. 300? 500? Only 200?

My girlfriend and I (19 and 20) are going vip. I'm glad to hear that there will be other young blood but i'm stoked to meet all you fogeys too. Our set up will be pretty low key since we're flying in from Idaho (can't pack too much). Look for the big peace sign tie die. come say hi. BONNAROOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I have no idea how many VIP tickets were sold. I guess we could ask for everyone's ticket number and try to figure it out.
I ordered my tickets on 2/11 and we are ticket numbers 80497 & 81497. VIP parking ticket number 602.

I got VIP upgrade vouchers with my Target Sport package and will trade them for wristbands at the airport. So I'll never have any real VIP tickets. The vouchers numbers are both in the 60's.

I'm 80028 and 81028, ordered 10 min prior to on-sale.
Also, last year I don't think they even let us into the Holiday Inn lot until 10:00 ... we got there a couple hours before 10, and we were lined up on the road. Come 10:00, the line began to move. Not sure if it'll be the same this year; we're planning for a similar arrival time.

Sorry, 10:00 am Thursday, as the instructions note. Unlike non-VIP in past years, we didn't find that they let us in any earlier than the planned time. So we chilled on the side of the road, meeting our soon-to-be neighbors.
Im going be at the lounge at the double tree in Murfreesboro on Weds. night , and gonna check out the broo'ers tent at 5Pm on thursday any and all are welcome to meet up for some pre roo brew

One of my Roo mates from last year reminded me today that in fact we DID get into th Holiday Inn lot when we arrived b/t 7-8 am Thurs. No problems driving into the Inn lot, parking, going inside and grabbing our passes and stuff, and then driving out of the lot and getting in line on the road. We weren't allowed into the Roo grounds sooner than 10 am Thurs (and therefore had time to make friends), but the Holiday Inn was no problem for early arrivals like ourselves. Sorry for sharing bad info earlier.
We are 80359 and 81359. We are staying the night in Crossville, TN the night before and driving in first thing in the a.m. We should be pulling in around 9:00 if it all works out....
Im planning on bringing a coffee pot and a coleman stove (some coffee too) you are more than welcome to use pot and stove or just snag a mug. If I run out of space in our vehicle Might have to scrap it though. the odds of me stuffin it in are pretty good . Gotta have my coffee (drinkin it now) We will be at the holiday in early thursday morning. So if people hook up there we could follow each other in and camp close. Might be easier said then done. But ill have a big block M flag (maize and blue) Also gonna be at the broo'ers tent at 5pm thursday and if people come we can share where are respective camps are. look forward to meeting as many of you as possible. I cant wait! Hoping for a sweet V.I.P. party thursday night with a fantastic band. Peace!

so did we figure out a plan for this group? also, is someone bringing a stove for coffee? i'll supply the coffee for use of the stove.
We'll be bringing a large two burner propane stove that my gear obsessed father passed down to me (he just got the 4 burner one )
We also just picked up a french press.
As for coffee, we'll be stopping in Birmingham on our way up to roo to pick up some of the best coffee I've ever had from O'Henry's coffee. My wife used to work there and was so excited when I mentioned the idea to her this morning.
We'll also be bringing a giant bag of potatos and veggie sausages for making breakfast.
I think we should probably start the process of formal organizing before roo is upon us. Any ideas? I've never been before, but it sounds like we can't possibly meet up in the Holiday Inn parking lot as they try to clear people through pretty quick.
I think we'll be getting in at about 11AM, but don't know for sure as I've never made the drive before.
So, past VIP'er... how could we arrange to camp together? Is it even possible or should we just plan on having seperate sites and meeting up with everyone?
coming into vip last year around 3-4 it wasn't very filled and it seemed that it would have been easy to move around quite easy wherever you wanted in terms of finding a spot. they put all the rv's in a spot so it should be easy to get together. if someone here gets in bright and eary and they have a flag or some marker to signal "this is the spot" we should all be able to camp together.
thanks for the coffee reply. i can't get going until my 3 cups in the morning.
OK, so who's getting there first thing in the morning (I think they let you in at 10AM?)
I'm noticing all the organizing going on for the tent only group (read the thread if you haven't yet, quite impressive) and realizing we're behind the ball a bit. We'll be getting in probably around Noon and would love to camp with other Inforoo VIP'ers.
I'm guessing to organize this, we need to consider the following...
- I think we need two seperate campgrounds, one for tent, one for RV's since they split the two up - A final count of how many campsites we need in each RV and tent camping areas. - Everyone's expected arrival times - People's contact info, flags, campsite pictures, etc.
I can setup a website where we can post this information privately and if anyone's interested, we could even liveblog the happenings from our group. There's a lot to be done and roo is quickly approaching.
We're driving down overnight from Michigan, hope to be rolling into Manchester between 8 & 10, and as close to the front of the line as possible.
I have a real-time chat board set up on my website that my buddies and I usually use for planning our annual canoe trip. I hereby *volunteer its use* for planning, trading info, etc...
Still trying to come up with a solid camp marker idea.
We're in the Holiday Inn parking lot wed. night. see the Evolutionary Reject flag on page 2. 5 days to Bliss........................Four of us just chilling........
OK, less than 72 hours now and I'll be on the road headed to roo. I spent this morning getting a website setup for the VIP camping group (I'm a geek, what can I say... this stuff is fun to me)
Go there and sign up for an account then create your Vip Profile to tell us information to help plan out a camping group such as a cell phone number, number of people in your party, what extra gear you'll have to share, arrival time, pictures, etc.
I'll be adding some views to show us how many we'll have in tent and rv areas and to help coordinate when everyone will get there and how we'll do it.
The site is also setup for sharing images, files, songs, etc. I've got plenty of bandwidth available on the server so feel free to post away. The only request is that you not post stuff and then announce the link publically as that makes the bandwidth really unpredictable.
I'll probably try doing some live blogging from the roo on the site. Any of you are welcome to do the same. You can create a blog in your home folder once registered and start blogging away.
