Very comfortable. My only gripes that I've had from wearing them is the occasional frustration of actually keeping them up and not having pockets in the usual places. The pocket problem can be solved with a backpack (though still kind of a hassle if you want quick access to something like smokes) or one of these :
Keeping them up and yourself decent would probably be a lot easier if you knew how to properly tie the sarong or had an actual skirt that didn't require tying. I ended up just throwing a belt on around the top and folding the top down over it, kept it up with no problems. Very, very comfortable. Very worth it.

One of my Roo-skirts I wore last year. Gotta get a new one or two for this year, if I do in fact end up going.
I think I love you.
hahaha I'll take it.
Yeah Aaron, they're like saddlebags for your waist. I'm definitely getting one for Roo. I think it would be handy even if I wasn't wearing a skirt/sarong.

I feel like I could just go buy some fabric, or even just tie dye fabric and make my own? Like what else is there to one of those skirts? If someone could post a website that sells ones like that dude has on the first post, that'd be just swell.
I feel like I would just make a hidden pocket that was just a little slit for my smokes and money. No need to carry much at 'roo. Even a small pack gets really really annoying to carry after a 10 hour day in Tennessee sun.
But if you think about it, in like India and shit, all the dudes wear those white, full body dress things. Yeah whatever it is. I don't know. But the point is that they wear those to keep cool in the hot weather. A skirt would definitely be better than shorts for 'roo.
Kaftan is what those people in India and shit wear. I like a good robe to stay cool in. I get mine at Ross, they have large African dress robes. They are made for women, but I wear them in the desert and they rock! Light weight, No restrictions. I am at work and can not post pics or else I would, but any FB friends can see the pics of me wearing a red one.

i went kilted sunday last year and loved it, very breezy/comfortable...definitely will bring again. Also, this year i will NOT wear it backwards...oops
Bought myself a Mountain Hardwear Elkommando Kilt the other day, and I totally love it. It's lightweight, doesn't soak up water easily and dries quickly if it does, has big fatty pockets on the sides, with a built in belt. I have a feeling it's going to be perfect for Roo. And I'm totally going commando. If people see things then they were looking and I'm alright with that. ;P

My collection has grown as well. And commando is the only way to go. I am gojng to decorate with glitter so it sparkles with the occasional sit down flash.
